Mrs. Chu’s Revenge

After leaving Mrs. Chu, call up Ricky. Wei will ask for Johnny Ratface’s number. He’s warned by Ricky that employing Ratface for any work is nowhere near good for the soul, but the concerns are merely noted. After the call, the smartphone switches to triangulation mode. Get a vehicle, get to the center of the cell tower network, and call up Ratface. After you trace the call, his hangout will be marked on the map: a shipping center by the freeway leading to Aberdeen.

Once you arrive, you see Ratface trying to convince a girl to get into the porn business (and you get to see why he’s earned the name “Ratface”). After she stalks off, begin tailing Ratface deeper into the docks.

You encounter five thugs pushing along some “merchandise”. As soon as they see Wei they charge at him. Focus on disarming the one with a lead pipe first, then go to town on the rest. By now, a mere five to one disadvantage probably seems like a walk in the park on a sunny day.

There are some creative environmental kills here, such as dropping an engine block on top of a screaming thug. After the fight is ended, move on to the next waypoint.

If you take your time before entering the boathouse, you can overhear the goons chatting about their work here. After you bust in through one of the open windows, they drop what they’re doing to get a piece of Wei. One of the three guys here is armed with a knife, so make sure you’re keeping a close eye on his position at all times until he’s no longer a factor.

With the boathouse thugs out of commission, you’re very close to Johnny Ratface. As you climb the stairs leading out of the boathouse, you’re spotted by him, as well as a few of his guards, all of whom are armed with guns. The closest thug is behind a piece of cover you can Action Vault over to tackle and disarm him. Do this right away, then immediately find some cover.

After taking out the three gunmen, pursue Ratface into the next warehouse.

Your next objective is to fight your way to Ratface without hurting or killing him. Granted, the small army of guards in the warehouse will make this difficult. Don’t get too aggressive pushing forward in the warehouse, as it’s quite easy to miss a thug while rushing forward and start taking fire from the sides. Some of the gunmen are packing SMGs, so give special attention to them.

After fighting your way through the warehouse, you’re back outside. A few more gunmen attack you on the ground, while another SMG thug tries to snipe at you from a balcony. His defensive cover is a piece of plywood, so make sure he understands how much of a mistake that is.

Ratface runs into another warehouse, just past a car lying out in the open, with a pair of gunmen using it for cover. To the upper right of the warehouse entrance is another SMG thug using plywood for cover on a balcony. The car itself is your only cover this close to the warehouse, but don’t dawdle behind it for too long. Too much sustained gunfire will blow it, and Wei, to pieces.

Push past this last group of guards and run into the warehouse, just in time to see Ratface climb into a car to make his escape. He leaves behind a motorcycle for Wei to give pursuit. A small army of backup arrives to try and keep you away from Ratface, but you’re now armed with an SMG. Gun for the tires and do your best to avoid hitting civilians.

After breaking through his private army, Action Hijack Ratface’s car as soon as you’re prompted, and then take him back to the Golden Koi in order to complete the mission. For just having his entire gang slaughtered, Ratface seems convinced that his powerful friends will make short work of Wei.

At the Golden Koi, Mrs. Chu quickly disowns him of that attitude, along with other unnecessary parts of his body. Her vengeance has only begun, and Wei begins to have trouble sleeping soundly over what he’s enabled.
