Super Mario Odyssey eGuide Seaside Kingdom

Extend Your Stay

Moving on from Seaside Kingdom requires 10 Power Moons, but that leaves many left to look for, and many underwater stones left unturned. Check out the Beach House and its accommodations, including an attire-appropriate dance, gardening using seeds from all over the kingdom, and a grueling game of volleyball.

Souvenir Shopping

Seaside Kingdom contains 100 coins in the form of purple Shells.

Coins in High Places

The purple coins in Seaside Kingdom aren’t hidden so much as they’re simply spread out over a large area, many underwater.

Inside the 8-bit pipe maze on the seafloor in the center of the map are probably the most well-hidden Regional Coins. Enter from the top-right pipe, then kick the red Koopa Troopa’s shell here so it bounces and breaks the waist-high block on the right. Run toward this hole and crouch at the last second to glide through it, arriving near a moving girder platform that allows access to the purple coins.
