Talk to the Toad at the Castle!
The most pressing concerns of Mario and Cappy’s strange odyssey are dealt with, but that doesn’t mean everything is done. Far from it! Immediate danger dispensed with, the heroes are only now returning to Mario’s home, the Mushroom Kingdom. In this cheerful green realm, there’s more to see and do, and surprises still to come.
The first order of business is to visit the castle and see how Princess Peach is doing!
…except you’ll quickly discover that Peach and Tiara have already packed up and left. They’re going on a trip of their own, on purpose this time! Perhaps you’ll see them around as you revisit previous kingdoms.
While Peach may not be here, one of her trustiest attendants is. Greet Archivist Toadette by the empty throne inside the castle. The archivist can award bonus Power Moons for many different feats, some obvious, some not. For a full list of achievement Power Moons available from Archivist Toadette, see the end of this chapter, beyond Power Moon #43.
Aside from the fun of it, there are material reasons to keep exploring and collecting Power Moons. More Power Moons means more outfits unlocked for purchase in Crazy Cap’s. And there are still whole new locations to uncover, for garnering 250 and 500 Power Moons…
