Super Mario Odyssey Guide › Moon Kingdom

Extend Your Stay

Post-Victory: Tourist Season

Once Bowser and the Broodals are no longer roughing up and stealing from residents of kingdoms the world over, people are much more willing to travel and sightsee and explore. You’ll find things changed in every kingdom, with eager tourists pouring in and relaxed locals relieved to go about their errands again happy and carefree.

Souvenir Shopping

Moon Kingdom contains 50 Regional Coins in the form of purple Star-bits.

Post-Victory: Moons from the Mysterious Moon Rocks

After diving into battle with Bowser in the bowels of the moon and emerging victorious, peace restored, an amazing revelation occurs: there are many more Power Moons locked away in the strange cubes found in each kingdom. Revisit a kingdom and find the Moon Rock within to unleash many new secrets throughout the region. Better yet, the location of all these Power Moons is marked on the Travel Map! Finding their locations usually won’t be the hard part, but figuring them out might be.

The Moon Rock here is also ready to be opened, springing eleven new Power Moons into existence throughout the Moon Kingdom.

Coins in High Places

Regional Coins are squirreled away in several places within the Underground Moon Cavern. Controlling Parabones, look for places under shallow bridges where the bone bird can flap to score purple coins.

During the Banzai Bill spring, veer wide to the right around a platform that serves as a Banzai and Bullet Bill cannon to find several hidden purple coins.

The moon’s low gravity, the tall reaches of the Wedding Hall’s spires, and the springy legs of a captured Frog all combine for some serious lift.
