Metro Kingdom contains the second most Power Moons in the world, with some of the most difficult to find not becoming accessible until after Bowser has been defeated. There is much to do at Metro Kingdom, from driving RC Cars to outrunning a T-Rex while driving a Scooter. Best of all, the streets of New Donk City are completely free of enemies once the festival takes place.

Metro Kingdom contains 100 Regional Coins in the form of purple coins stamped with Mayor Pauline’s portrait. They can all be collected during Mario’s first visit.
Local Currency
There are a lot of Regional Coins to find in Metro Kingdom, and a lot of nooks and crannies for them to hide in, but the majority are quite easy to spot. Though there are a number of them tucked inside challenge levels, the bulk are out in the open, atop rooftops and balconies, and in the many fire escapes that decorate the city. Get up high, be thorough, and sweep across the city in a methodical manner to find them. A few of the trickier ones are detailed in this section..
Enter the triangular building southwest of New Donk City Hall and hop aboard the Scooter for a shot at six Regional Coins. Stay aligned with the yellow markings on the street as there are three purple coins on the first right-hand strip of yellow, then three more in the center of the alley immediately after that. Leap over the crates to maintain speed.
The other hard-to-spot Regional Coins are near the top of New Donk City Hall. Warp to New Donk City Hall Rooftop and approach the door, but don’t head inside. Instead, wall jump back and forth between the walls rising up above the doorway. There are three coins at the very top of this shaft.
