Gather 40 gold ore. Gold ore is a rare resource found in veins inside caves and occasionally lying on the ground. Your first encounter with the resource is inside the Maya temple in Cozumel. Sell the resource to Merchants for gold pieces.

Buy an item from a Merchant. Merchants are found in Kuwaq Yaku, Paititi, and the Mission of San Juan. These shops sell weapons, weapon attachments, outfits, ammo pouches, ammo, resources, and unique equipment in exchange for gold pieces. Simply purchase one item to complete this objective.
Better Equipped
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 10
Get three pieces of equipment. Purchase or find three pieces of equipment. Weapons, outfits, and gear are available from Merchants, and rewarded for completing certain objectives.
That’s a Knife!
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 15
Fully upgrade the knife. Complete the “Collateral Damage - Stay of Execution” side mission and purchase Knife Upgrade from the right Paititi Merchant to fully upgrade your knife. The upgrades allow you to bypass braided-rope barriers and gather more resources from harvested animals.
Makeshift Arsenal
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 15
Fully upgrade a weapon. Use resources at Base Camps to complete the upgrade tree for any bow, handgun, rifle, or shotgun.
To the Nines
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 10
Restore and equip a matching Vestige outfit. Vestige outfits are earned by completing crypts and purchased from Merchants. After you find upper and lower outfit pieces, they must be crafted at any Base Camp. The two crypts in the Peruvian Jungle offer the first Vestige outfit, Eveningstar’s Boots and Cape. Loot the two sarcophagi, craft the two items at a Base Camp, and equip the outfit.
Thread the Past
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 10
Restore five Vestige outfit pieces. Find the two Vestige outfit pieces hiding in the crypts mentioned previously, purchase two more from the Kuwaq Yaku Merchant, and find a fifth piece in a crypt near the same village. Restore all five pieces at a Base Camp to score this Achievement before leaving the first village.
First Steps
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 5
Purchase a Skill. As you complete objectives, you earn XP. As you accumulate certain amounts of XP, Skill Points are awarded. Spend points at Base Camps to purchase Skills.
Specialized
Trophy: bronze Gamer Points: 15
Earn all Skills in one category. There are three categories of Skills: Seeker, Warrior, and Scavenger. Complete one of these specializations to earn this Trophy/Achievement. Note that a number of Skills are provided when you find steles during the campaign and in challenge tombs.
