Warrior Skills

The Warrior tree focuses on enhanced survivability and combat prowess. Much of the Warrior tree is only necessary if you’re struggling in combat encounters or regularly being discovered during attempts at stealth.

Puma’s Rest

SP Cost: 1

Requirements: Available by default.

Description: Increase precision by holding charged shots for a longer time.

Raposa’s Threat

SP Cost: 1

Requirements: Available by default.

Description: Visual assistance when aiming at an enemy’s head.

Howler’s Speed

SP Cost: 1

Requirements: Available by default.

Description: Never slip when grabbing ledges. More reaction time for traps and grappling enemies.

Raposa’s Drop

SP Cost: 1

Requirements: Available by default.

Description: Reduce damage when falling from heights. Tap [B] on impact to roll, and take no damage at all.

Puma’S Feint

SP Cost: 2

Requirements: Available by default.

Description: Incapacitate unarmored enemies with a counterattack after dodging.

Puma’s Charge

SP Cost: 2

Requirements: Purchase an adjacent Skill.

Description: Reach full draw weight more quickly. Reduce time between charged shots.

Jaguar’s Fury

SP Cost: 2

Requirements: Purchase an adjacent Skill.

Description: Resist damage from enemies for a short period after performing a stealth kill.

Puma’s Brace

SP Cost: 2

Requirements: Available by default.

Description: Resist damage from enemies for a short period after healing wounds in combat.

Raposa’s Wit

SP Cost: 2

Requirements: Purchase an adjacent Skill.

Description: Unlocks next weapon upgrade level.

Requirements: Purchase an adjacent Skill.

Description: Loose arrows simultaneously at two locked targets.

Howler’s Troop II

SP Cost: 3

Requirements: Purchase Howler’s Troop.

Description: Loose arrows simultaneously at three locked targets.

Heart of the Jaguar

SP Cost: 2

Requirements: Story - Unlock Eye of the Eagle.

Description: Endurance plants reduce damage from enemy melee and ranged attacks.

Heart of the Jaguar II

SP Cost: 3

Requirements: Purchase Heart of the Jaguar.

Description: Boost the potency of Endurance plants. Reduce damage from fire and explosions, and increase breath capacity when swimming.

Heart of the Jaguar III

SP Cost: 3

Requirements: Purchase Heart of the Jaguar II.

Description: Endurance plant effects last longer.

Jaguar’s Fear

SP Cost: 0

Requirements: Story: Reach the Porvenir Oil Fields.

Description: Craft fear arrows. Send enemies into a panic, causing them to fire wildly.

Note: Crafting fear arrows requires a silent arrow, cloth, and dart poison.

Jaguar’s Dread

SP Cost: 3

Requirements: Unlock Jaguar’s Fear.

Description: Fear arrow effects last longer.

Sip’s Strike

SP Cost: 0

Requirements: Complete Challenge Tomb: Thirsty Gods.

Description: Increase charged shot damage against armored enemies.

Jaguar’s Paw

SP Cost: 0

Requirements: Complete Challenge Tomb: Ancient Aqueduct.

Description: Increase chance to knock enemies down with melee attacks.

Kinich Ahau’s Boon

SP Cost: 0

Requirements: Complete Challenge Tomb: Tree of Life.

Description: Health is instantly restored once, when near death in battle. Refreshes between encounters.
