Location: Cenotes Temple (Along Alternate Path)
Access the Tomb
Soon after you enter the temple, the path splits. Left takes you to your next story objective; right explores more of Cenotes, with the tomb entrance about halfway through the alternate path. Jump across the gap to the craggy surface and ascend to the walkway. Up on the right, a shotgun barrier blocks access back to the start of the temple. Dive into the water and follow the tunnel, keeping an eye out for trapped air.
Watch for light shining into the water on the right. At that point, turn right. Following the water straight takes you back to the temple.
Continue fast-swimming to the next trapped air. A pair of moray eels swims the next section of the water tunnel, so steer clear and hide in the vegetation when one is nearby. If an eel gets ahold of you, jam on the Interact button to fight it off. Eventually, Lara is swept down a waterfall.
The Tomb Base Camp
Climb onto the ledge. Scramble and climb up the wall until you can’t go any farther. Jump, shimmy, and jump again to reach the craggy wall on the right. Ascend to the walkway above, and scramble through the tunnel to reach the Collapsed Temple Base Camp.
Climb Onto the Ship
Climb the nearby ledge, and enter another temple. Run straight until you reach a cannon and cart (1). Push the cart left, then push the cannon forward until it rolls down the slope, smashing through a barrier. Follow the cart into a massive cavern, where a Spanish galleon has mysteriously come to rest.

To the left of the entrance after entering the large room with the first moveable cannon.
Run along the beach to the far right. Kick the raft (2) toward the ship and climb on. Scramble up the side of the ship to the handhold, and jump up to the next opening. Leap left, then scramble and climb onto the deck.

Found in the water under the trapped ship.
Enter the Captain’s Cabin
Follow these steps to enter the captain’s quarters:
- Descend the steps and turn the handle (3) until the “falconet is in position.” Dive into the water and pry the gate open to reach the back of the ship. Jump off the starboard side and search the waters for valuables before using the ladder to climb back onto the ship.
- Follow the corridor around to the left before exiting the water. Climb onto the ledge and scramble up the vertical boards. Scramble and jump all the way up to the broken board, shimmy left, then swing on the pole. Quickly scramble up to the deck.
- Run left and tightrope to the end of the beam (4). Leap to the craggy surface and ascend to a trail.
- Follow the trail left, leap over to the boom, and walk onto the aft platform. Use a climbing axe on the crank (5) to turn the next boom 90 degrees.
- Wall-scramble up the boards that run up the backside of the mast, and climb the ladder to the upper boom. You can climb up farther to another platform, but your next objective requires walking left out onto the boom.
- At the end of the boom, leap to the ledge ahead. Search the cave on the left before following the trail around to the right.
- Jump to the craggy wall, rappel down, and swing right to another boom. Follow it inward and drop to the deck. Run around the mast and pull another handle (6) back until the mast points toward the foremast.
- Run back around the mast and climb the crate on the right. Jump over to the boom, then vault onto the cargo.
- Jump to the boards and climb up to the sign. Shimmy right, then jump upward to a partial ladder. Step up to the crank (7) on the side of the mast and pry it loose to drop the cannon into the captain’s quarters.
- Tether a rope from the coil above to another below the boom, and ride it down to the bow. Descend the stairs, or drop through the hole, to enter the front cabin to find the stele. Search the captain’s quarters before exiting the cabin; a rope coil to the left provides an alternate exit from the ship.
Exit the Tomb
Return to the Base Camp. If you’ve already completed the Cenotes, fast-travel to another Base Camp. If you must return to the story, cross the water, climb onto the bank, and scramble up to the exit.
Leap to the craggy wall and ascend to the narrow shelf. Shimmy and jump to the right before continuing up to the plateau.

Captain’s Note

Found in the Captain’s Quarters, next to the tomb’s treasure.
Scramble and climb up to the walkway above. This sends Lara sliding down a slope. Be ready to jump to the climbable surface before falling off the end. Scale up to the upper level, then jump onto the zipline.
Leap toward the metal hook and swing over to the craggy wall. Climb up to a small platform and dive into the water.
Dive downward through a hole to reconnect with the water tunnel you followed into the tomb.
Rejoin the Story
Turn right to find trapped air. Continue in the same direction until the path splits. Turn right, climb onto the bank, and destroy the pry barrier to return to the main path.
