Lara can learn a total of 67 new Skills in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. XP is earned through virtually every action in the game—hunting, killing enemies, gathering resources, collecting Artifacts—and leveling up provides Skill Points with which new Skills can be purchased at Base Camps.
Skills are separated into three distinct trees with their own specialties: Seeker (Eagle), Warrior (Jaguar), and Scavenger (Serpent). Each tree also ties to the ability to utilize specific plants—Perception, Endurance, and Focus, respectively—which Lara can use to further increase her advantage over Trinity’s forces.
If you’ve played either of the previous two Tomb Raider titles, you should have a solid idea of which Skills will be most helpful. As XP and therefore Skill Points are limited, plan out which Skills to prioritize obtaining in advance.
Upon starting a New Game+, you select one of the three paths to further specialize in, unlocking access to three unique Skills, as well as new weapons and outfits.
