Follow the path (1) left and up to a Base Camp. Leap to the steps, but search to the right first to find treasure. Return to the steps, jump to the wall, and climb onto the wooden platform.

01 MURAL

Crumbling

Before entering the trial, turn to the right and head up the short path to reach this Mural.

To complete the trial, you must find a way to the exit, seen on the far side of the cylindrical arena, while avoiding the deadly arms that rotate around the central pillar.

• To the right, climb onto the horizontal beam on the left, and shimmy right until you can dismount.
• Tightrope along the narrow beam toward the center, hop onto the ledge that runs around the shaft, and shimmy left until you’re able to drop onto the walkway.
• Scramble up the wall, move left, and rappel to the lower walkway.
• Follow the path toward the center and then out to the far side. Leap to the outer wall and scramble to the ledge.
• Climb up and shimmy right until you reach a craggy wall outside of the arena.
• Rappel down to the bricks, wall-run left, and then right. Leap to another scalable wall and climb up to a platform that holds the first winch.
• Stand next to the winch and fire a rope arrow at the coil of rope on the central pillar, unfurling three sails connected to arms that rotate around the pillar.

• Run toward the pillar, jump onto the ladder as it rotates to the right, and climb onto the new arm.
• Pause as you pass a portion of a wooden frame. Immediately move inward to avoid another section. Step outward and scramble up the vertical boards on the next frame.
• Let the next arm pass by before you jump up and climb onto the beam. This brings you back to the start.
• Wait for the ladder to rotate upright, and quickly climb up. Jump to the horizontal boards above, then head right until you can access the next wooden platform.

• Move forward and jump toward the shaft. Follow the walkway to the outside wall and then left.
• Leap to the ledge, shimmy left, and climb onto the stone floor.
• Scramble and climb to the next walkway up, but pause before pulling all the way up.
• As soon as the moving arm passes overhead, climb up and squat-walk out the hole in the wall.

• Follow the walkway to a second winch. Spot the coil of rope next to the outer wall of the arena and rope-pull it down to reveal the lever for the door.
• Stand near the short pole located near the outer edge of the floor and face the lever. Step toward the arena until you can see the lever. Shoot it with a rope arrow to pull it out, where it remains for a short time before resetting.
• Quickly step back to the post and tether a rope between the lever and post.
• With the door open, tether another rope between the winch and central pillar. This pulls a new arm up from the shaft, which immediately becomes stuck.

There is a wooden pathway down and away from the pole you need to tether a rope to. The Document is on a table at the bottom.

• Jump onto the ladder, dislodging the arm. Quickly grab the ledge when Lara loses her grip.
• Climb up and wait for the spiky arm to pass. Quickly move toward the pillar and scramble up the boards.
• Jump up and shimmy left until you can climb up. Tightrope to the outside wall and grab on with the climbing axes. Jump and scale to the right until you can pull up to the next floor.
• Walk toward the center and leap to the rotating section of the pillar. Jump up to one of the horizontal boards and wait for a spiky arm to pass overhead.
• Quickly jump and scramble up the vertical boards. Continue up and then shimmy toward the sail.
• Climb on and step to the edge. Just after passing under the bird, leap to the ladder on the outside wall.
• Scale down the wall until you can’t go any farther. Rappel until you’re lined up with the rotating ladder on the right.
• Wall-run left and then right to build momentum. As long as the ladder is turned upright, jump from the right point of your wall run.
• Jump to the top rung and immediately push up. Continue forward until you can jump and climb to the treasure room (2).

Find the Hidden City

Follow the left passageway to a pool of water. Dive in and climb out the other side. At the next cavern, jump onto the craggy wall on the right and make your way up until you reach the wood scaffolding. Swing on the pole to the ladder on the next wall and climb up to the trail. Follow the tunnel to reach the next region.
