Relics

01 Relic

Lord and Lady of the Dead

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Abandoned Village

Inside the Crypt, after diving down into the water, Lara must squeeze through a small opening. Head to the left and then straight after passing through. Just after the second trapped air is this Relic, next to a sunken golden statue.

02 Relic

Metatl

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Unuratu’s Home

Exit Unuratu’s Home and enter the building immediately to your left. This Relic is inside.

03Relic

Chaki Talla

  • Dialect: Quechua
  • Nearest Camp: Unuratu’s Home

Exit Unuratu’s Home and head forward, down the nearby ladder. This Relic is right across from Lara when she reaches the bottom.

04Relic

Ch’arki and Chunos

  • Dialect: Quechua
  • Nearest Camp: Unuratu’s Home

Requires Upgraded Knife. Exit Unuratu’s Home and head left, past Monolith 02, down the short and then long flights of stone steps. A stone hut with a barricaded door will be directly in front of you. Cut through it and the Relic is inside along with some resources.

Exit Unuratu’s Home and head to the right, into the large irrigated farming area. This Relic is halfway up the far wall, behind a small roofed structure.

06 Relic

Urpa

  • Nearest Camp: Unuratu’s Home

From Relic 05, head upward until you reach the top of the steps. The next Relic is near the Monolith.

07 Relic

Ceremonial Pipe

Begin to go around the corner from the female mechant, as if to leave the marketplace. There is a small opening in the structure next to her which Lara can crouch under. The Relic is inside, next to some jade.

08 Relic

Chuspas

  • Dialect: Quechua
  • Nearest Camp: Paititi Market

Head up the steps next to the Base Camp and turn right at the first opportunity. The Relic will be just inside, on a table.

09 Relic

Burial Mask

  • Dialect: MAM
  • Nearest Camp: Paititi Market

From the Base Camp, face the white walls with blue streaks next to the stairway leading to Relic 08. Head right instead, and go up the small staircrase just after the passageway through the hole in the stone. Continue up these stairs into the caves, crossing the water around the Explorer Backpack and to the wall on the right that Lara can climb up. There is a low path that Lara can pass through while crouching, and the Relic is on the other side.

10 Relic

Incense Burner

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Temple District

Locate the craggy wall next to the Base Camp and climb up. The Relic is down the path in a small shrine to the left.

11 Relic

Whistle

This Relic is just up the steps from the Base Camp, before entering the temple.

12 Relic

Patolli Mat

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Temple District

From the Base Camp, face the temple and then head to the left. At the stone steps leading up, turn to the left and go down a few steps. The building to the right is the same one where Pisco from the “Skill of the Player” side mission is found. The Relic is inside, next to a Treasure Chest.

13 Relic

Mask of the God

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Temple District

From the Base Camp, head left and up the stairs, past the building where Relic 12 was found. Continue in this direction for as far as you can go. When Lara can either head to the left down stairs, or right, into a cave, go into the cave. The Relic is on the ground toward the end of the tunnel.

14 Relic

Ceremonial Torch

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Temple District

From the tunnel where Relic 13 was found, head out in the direction of the steps going down, toward the docks far below. Just before the steps, however, there is a craggy wall to the right. Climb up it, and then turn to the left to find another craggy wall next to the Mural. Ascend the wall and move around the corner until you can rappel down where the Relic awaits.

15 Relic

Dismantled Radio

  • Nearest Camp: Village Caves

Requires Upgraded Knife. From the Base Camp, head forward down the stairs and turn to the right. There will be a braided barricade. Cut it down and the Relic is inside.

16 Relic

Macuahuitl

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Temple District

Enter the temple from the Base Camp and head inward. The Relic is straight ahead in the second room.

17 Relic

Beast Effigy

  • Dialect: Yucatec
  • Nearest Camp: Wild Jungle

From the Base Camp head northwest on the map until you reach the end of the jungle. There will be a circular man-made area with this Relic in one of the corners.

18 Relic

Golden Effigy

  • Dialect: Quechua
  • Nearest Camp: Fishing District

This Relic is found in the Crypt that is part of the “Draw Weight Heavily” side mission. From the location of Mural 18, head left through the wall that needs to be pried open, past two spear traps. This Relic is in the next room, on the right.

This Relic is found at the entrance to the Ollanta, the Potter Crypt, on the ground to the right before passing through the narrow hole in the wall on the left.

Fawcett’s Legacy

From the Base Camp, head around the nearest building, down to small flights of stone steps, and to the left, where this Document is found next to some stretched-out hide.

02 Document

Lopez’s Arrival

  • Dialect: N/A
  • Nearest Camp: Abandoned Village

Requires Ascender. From Document 01, continue straight ahead until you reach a walled off area with a roped barricade in front of you and a braided rope barricade to your right. The Document is behind the barricade requiring the Ascender. On the map it is the south-most point, directly in the bottom middle of the Abandoned Village.

03 Document

Covering The Tracks

  • Dialect: N/A
  • Nearest Camp: Abandoned Village

Requires Ascender. In the upper middle of the Abandoned Village there is a narrow path leading down to the water. A roped barricade is to the left, just before the stone archway leading to the path. The Document is behind the barricade.

04 Document

Expedition Report

From the Base Camp, head into the village down the first flight of stone steps, then turn left and jump to climb up into the building. Shoot a rope line across to the far building. This Document is inside that building.

05 Document

The First Emperor

  • Dialect: Quechua
  • Nearest Camp: Fishing District

There is a large tree next to the Base Camp. Climb up it, then jump onto the ledges on the mountain. Continue on the path until you pull yourself up and cross a tree being used as a bridge to a new area. The Document is in this area, to your left.

06 Document

El Dorado

Exit Unuratu’s Home and go forward until the path leads down to a ladder, to the right of the zipline. Go down the ladder and to the right. A few steps away there are ledges that you can jump and climb up to reach a small, elevated area. The Document is in this area.

07 Document

Journal of T. Serrano 4

Exit Unuratu’s Home and head to the left as far as you can, passing Monolith 02, Relic 04, and Mural 02. At the dead end next to the Mural, turn to the right and head down the steps, then to the left where you find a hidden area near the waterfall. This Document is inside, next to an Explorer Backpack.

From the Base Camp, head to the right, past the marketplace until you see stone stairways to the left. Go up the first three stairways and turn left at the first opportunity. This Document is inside the building to the left.

16 Document

From the Base Camp, head to the right and down to docks. The Document is at the south end of the docks.

17 Document

Devils in the Dark

From the Base Camp, head to the left, climb up the levels that the water is coming down from. Once you can’t climb farther and the water pathway leads farther into the village, head away from it and go up the stairs to the left. At the first entrance, turn left and go past the two villagers under the red fabric into the structure. The Document is in this room, across from the water source that leads to the Temple of the Sun.

From the building that housed Document 17, head up the stone steps as far as possible, directly into an underground tunnel. This Document is between the Relic and Mural.

From Document 17, head up the steps to the tunnel where Document 18 is found. Before going inside, there is a craggy wall to the left, at the top of the steps. Climb it, and then turn right and go into the building down the path. This Document is inside.

From the Base Camp, pass through the small doorway with the obsidian blades. From the serpenthead statue used to activate the mechanisms in the room, drop down to the ledge below where this Document is found. Alternately, you can dive into the water and climb up the ledge instead, but beware of the current.

This Document is just within the entrance of the Crypt that is part of the “Draw Weight Heavily” side mission. After entering the cave, you’ll pass a spear trap and jump over a spike trap, and the Document will be on the right.

Exit Unuratu’s Home and head to the left as far as you can, past Monolith 02 and Relic 04. This Mural is at the end of the path, overlooking the waterfall.

03 Mural

Founding of Paititi

From the Base Camp, head into the village and walk (or jump) up the path with the rows of cornstalks, then turn to the left. The Mural is around the corner, alongside the stone wall.

04 Mural

Shielding the Serpent

  • Dialect: MAM

This Mural is directly across from the market entrance closest to the Base Camp (and farthest away from the two merchants who sell to Lara).

05 Mural

First Contact

Head down the two sets of stairs across from the temple entrance and continue forward until Lara can go straight no farther. The Mural is on her left.

06 Mural

Silver-Crowned Mountain

There is a craggy wall next to the temple, several feet away from the Base Camp. Climb it and then head to the right. The Mural is at the end of the path, to the right of a small pond.

07 Mural

Deadly Earth Mother

Head toward the fishing docks south of the bridge leading to Upper Paititi. The Mural is at the top of the hill, just before the entrance into the building where the fishing boats are being constructed.

From Mural 19, head through the building where the boats are housed and jump into the water. The Mural is slightly to the left, at the bottom, next to the wall.

This Mural is found at the bottom of the Ollanta, the Potter Crypt, in the area with waist-high water, opposite the wall that can be pried open, leading to the sarcophagus.

01 Monolith

From the Base Camp there are two small islands out in the water. This Monolith is on the farthest island that is located close to all the villagers fishing.

Exit Unuratu’s Home and head left until you come across two villagers praying to this Monolith.
