1.Draw Weight Heavilt - The Champion's Bow
When you return to Skull Cave after the Mission of San Juan, Uchu has one last step to the “Draw Weight Heavily” side mission. If you haven’t completed his previous two quests, they’re also available. The final item needed for the coronation is the Champion’s Bow. The prized bow is currently in the Nahual’s possession, which can be found in the Paititi Wilderness. Find the wilderness entrance directly across from the cave, next to a small pool of water.
If you’ve already activated the Wild Jungle Base Camp, fast-travel into the area. Otherwise, scramble through the entrance. You must first investigate the area. An untouched animal carcass is found along the central path, and a sacrificial altar is on the north side. There are numerous resources and collectibles, so search the area thoroughly.
Squeeze through the narrow opening at the objective beacon and enter the ominous-looking hut ahead. As you investigate a bow, the Nahual approaches from behind and immediately pounces. To escape its grasp, wiggle the left stick back and forth, then press the given button as the circle moves inside the shaded area. Quickly sprint outside and prepare for battle.
The Nahual currently takes the shape of a jaguar. It fights similarly to the wildcats in the Peruvian Jungle, with more health and stronger attacks. It’s armored, so Puma’s Feint is ineffective. Evade its swipes and pelt it with arrows when it doesn’t attack. Resources for crafting arrows and healing are found in the area. Gather the items when there’s sufficient space between you and the Nahual.
The jaguar is quick, so it’s often better to evade its attacks instead of trying to outrun it. If the feline escapes into concealment or around a corner, use Survival Instincts to locate it again. You don’t want the powerful foe sneaking up behind you.
After taking enough damage, the Nahual retreats into the hut. Follow it inside to collect the Champion’s Bow. Return to Uchu to complete the quest.
