Music Land (Version 2)

LEVEL BREAKDOWN

Collectibles

  • Film Reel
  • Golden E-ticket (x2)
  • Gold Pin

Note: Music Land (Version 2) allows you to travel between Train Tunnels and Fort Wasteland.

The lower path for this projector is quite short and all the items can be acquired on the upper path, so skip ahead if you just want the items. You start on a raft and have to jump across various floating objects. One raft has a waterspout under it that can push you high enough to reach some E-tickets.

After you reach the shore, pass inside the broken horn to avoid a bomb.

Next, you encounter a pair of walking drums that are fairly easy to avoid. If you jump on top of them you can bounce higher to reach some extra E-tickets.

Once you pass the walking drums, there is a large drum that has been blasted apart. You can walk inside the drum and fall down to a lower level with a door to pass through the wall.

Near the end of the level is a parade of celebrating instruments. On the ramp leading up to the projector is a pair of horns tossing hats into the air. There is a bell here that is hanging from the archway. Use the Spin Attack to smack the bell and make some E-tickets appear.

If you are wearing the Steamboat Willie Costume, there is a Gold Pin on top of the golden arch.

At the end of the parade is the exit projector.

You start the upper path on a raft just as you did on the lower path. Hop in the nearby boat to be ferried a short distance to where you can jump on a floating instrument that gets pushed up by a waterspout every few seconds. When the waterspout shoots up, jump off to the ledge.

Ahead is a large saxophone with two openings. Two sets of flute platforms come out, and you can use them to jump up to the top.

After jumping down from the saxophone, you see a trumpet in the ground pointed upward. You must jump over it after it blows air out. When you get to the snare drum platform, Oswald offers to throw you in the air to a higher ledge that has a golden E-ticket.

Shortly after this is a small drum platform with another trumpet below. The other golden E-ticket is under the trumpet. Simply jump over the trumpet while it isn’t blowing, and walk back past the trumpet to get the golden E-ticket.

Jump back onto the trumpet when it isn’t blowing and jump again to the higher drum platform. Cross two more trumpets to reach another large saxophone with extending flute platforms.

As you did with the large saxophone earlier, you have to jump on the extending platforms to reach the top. The timing is more difficult because you have to jump on the higher platform just as it begins to come out or it will be too high for you to jump on. Once you get on top of the saxophone, collect the Film Reel.

Drop back down. At the base of the saxophone, you can see that it opens up. Jump into the hole to get to the lower path at the start of the instrument parade.

If you didn’t collect the Gold Pin on the lower path, get it now by using the floating hats to climb to the top of the golden arch while wearing the Steamboat Willie Costume.

Finish your trek through Music Land by using the projector to leave.
