LEVEL OVERVIEW
OsTown is a mess when you arrive. Animatronic Goofy let things get a little haywire, and Thinner is spraying all over the place. To continue on your quest to fix the projectors, you’ll have to drain the Thinner from the town and speak with Prescott and Goofy as you decide which path to take saving OsTown. Prescott asks you to use one supercharged pump, and Goofy wants you to use three normal pumps. You can also pick up a couple of optional quests that will keep you busy.

Speak with Animatronic Goofy in front of the Thinner pool in town. He gives you a hint that one of the three pumps is located on top of Ortensia’s house. You can grab that when you head over to that side of town.
Before you go running around town trying to drain the Thinner pool, speak with the Train Conductor directly behind you. He gives you the second part of “The Wasteland Limited” optional quest. To complete it, you need to repair the train station with your Fairy Sketch and Paint.
The quakes have collapsed part of the station, so use your Fairy Sketch to expand the building. Once the building expands, paint in the building until the station is bright yellow and pink. Speak with the station manager to complete the second leg of the quest and earn the OsTown Train Conductor Pin.
OsTown Train Conductor Pin
Repair the train station in OsTown to earn this pin. Use the Fairy Sketch to expand the partially collapsed station, then paint it in so it looks like new. Speak with the station manager and he’ll hand you the cool, new pin.
Once you have the OsTown train station operational, you can travel back and forth between here and Mean Street South’s train station. For 25 E-tickets, hop on the train to reach Mean Street South quickly.
If you follow Goofy’s advice to drain the Thinner pool, you need to find all three pumps around town. The first has landed in the Thinner stream between Mickey’s house and Moody’s house.
Use the Fairy Sketch on the pump sitting in the middle of the Thinner and lift it out of danger. Next, fire Paint at the pump to push it away from the Thinner stream so that it drops safely on land. Pull or push the pump into one of the three pump stations around the Thinner pool and have Oswald power up the control panel with Electricity.
Take Goofy up on his clue and look for the second pump up on Ortensia’s roof. Thin her house temporarily so that you free the pump from the tower, and use the Fairy Sketch to levitate it off the roof. Carefully knock it away from the tower with Paint.
When the pump drops to the grass, grab hold of it and guide it to the second pump station. After Oswald zaps the pump station’s control panel, you’ll be well on your way to cleaning up the mess.
The third pump landed on the roof above the Gag Factory door. Jump up on the giant bellows to the right of the door and ride it to its highest point. Leap over to the roof and grab the third pump.
Carefully knock the third pump off the Gag Factory roof so that it lands on the grass below and doesn’t roll into the Thinner pool. If it ends up in the pool, you’ll have to use a Fairy Sketch to fish it out. Drag the pump over to the final pump station and have Oswald zap it. With all three pump stations working, the Thinner pool drains and uncovers a hatch to the D.E.C. access area.
If you choose to follow Prescott’s advice, you can save yourself some time and drain the Thinner pool with a single pump. Fetch any pump from the three locations and drag it to Prescott’s super-charger machine on the back corner of the Gag Factory. Give the pump a blast of energy, and then drag it to the any of the three pump stations around the Thinner pool before the super-charge wears off. The pool will drain to reveal the D.E.C. access hatch, and Prescott will be a little happier that you took his advice.
However, if you use Prescott’s super-charge method, the Thinner streams coming out of the town statue get worse. Instead of the stream hitting just Mickey’s house, it strikes all the houses on the block. For now, you’re not going to be able to visit any of the houses in OsTown.

You earn the Don’t Know My Own Strength Pin from Prescott if you choose to follow his advice when draining the Thinner pool in OsTown. If you follow Animatronic Goofy’s advice instead, you earn the Pump It Up Pin.

You earn the Pump It Up Pin from Animatronic Goofy if you choose to follow his advice when draining the Thinner pool in OsTown. If you follow Prescott’s advice instead, you earn the Don’t Know My Own Strength Pin.
If you choose to heed Goofy’s advice, speak with him outside Ortensia’s house. He thanks you for your efforts and rewards you with the Pump It Up Pin.
Assuming you didn’t use Prescott’s super-charger and thin Ortensia’s house, enter her house to discover a red chest. Open the chest and you’ll be rewarded with the My Other House Is a Castle Pin.
My Other House Is a Castle Pin
Visit Ortensia’s house and open the red chest in her living room for the My Other House Is a Castle Pin.
You can stop in and say hi to Clarabelle in her house so long as you didn’t thin it out following Prescott’s advice. Clarabelle will happily chat away while she bakes in her kitchen.
If you leave via the back door, you enter her garden. The quakes have thinned out most of the garden. To put a smile back on Clarabelle’s face, paint in the whole garden so you see all her wonderful crops.
Mickey’s house is blocked by the constant Thinner stream that emanates from the town statue. You can’t access his house until you return to OsTown for a second visit.
Cross the bridge over the Thinner stream and spray some Thinner of your own up on the nearby tower. You’ll reveal a Golden Cloth on the top section. It’s too high for one hero to jump up, but if you perform a cooperative throw with Oswald or Mickey, you’ll be able to reach it.
OPTIONAL QUEST
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES
You pick up this optional quest from Moody in OsTown. Look for him in the blue house across from Mickey’s house. He shares with you a series of riddles, and if you take a picture of the subject of a riddle and return the picture to Moody, he rewards you with a Bronze Pin. Continue to answer riddles and take pictures to solve the quest. Also, Moody’s cousin Rigger Greene stands outside Moody’s house. He only wants Moody to remember the pirate times they had together; if you want to steer Moody’s memories in favor of Rigger Greene, speak with him and take the pictures he wants you to take.
Moody lives in the blue house across the Thinner stream from Mickey’s house. He has a terrible memory and needs to be constantly reminded of things. He gives you riddles to solve as part of his “Thanks for the Memories” optional quest. To solve a riddle, find the subject of the riddle and take a picture of it. The first riddle involves Moody’s own blue house; walk outside, take a picture, and return to complete the first section and earn a Bronze Pin.
Prescott is either in a bad mood, if you listened to Goofy earlier to fix the Thinner disaster, or a crabby mood, if you heed his advice to clean up the town. Either way he stands in front of the Gag Factory and won’t let you in. If you used the supercharger, make sure you speak with Prescott in front of the Gag Factory to get the Don’t Know My Own Strength Pin.
