Mission: “My Name’s Lincoln Clay…”
Prerequisite: Kill the Second Marcano Capo
Draw Out Santangelo
Once this mission is triggered, the relentless assassin Nino Santangelo begins to hunt Lincoln across the city. It doesn’t take much to “draw out Santangelo”—just go about your business, and he will soon arrive with carloads of vicious killers. His arrival is marked by the red “Retaliation” banner that appears across the top of the screen.
Kill Santangelo
This next objective doesn’t exactly describe your task. Here you actually “incapacitate” Santangelo. When he and his crew arrive to attack Lincoln, the objective marker tracks Santangelo’s location. If you get him in your gun sights, shoot until he drops to one knee. He can’t move after that, so you can concentrate on the next objective.
Kill Santangelo’s Men
This objective appears if any of Santangelo’s men are still alive after you incapacitate their boss. Hunt them down and kill them, and then return to the fallen Santangelo.
Confront Santangelo
Here you simply approach the incapacitated Santangelo and hold the button prompted to trigger a cutscene: Lincoln utters the phrase that gives title to this mission.
