Mission: “Kill the Judge”

Prerequisite: Secure Both French Ward Rackets (“Drugs” and “Sex”)
Before you start this mission, make sure you’ve got a full supply of grenades in your weapon inventory. Then find Donovan’s blue Marquis’ Fine Liquors van (1) parked in front of the movie theater and get in the passenger side door. Donovan has news: a wiretapped conversation revealed the identity of the Circuit Court judge who’s playing ball with Uncle Lou Marcano. Turns out Judge Cornelius Holden is presiding over a controversial federal case and leaving the courthouse with a police escort. Taking him out won’t be easy. Donovan points out the armored vehicle.
Kill Judge Holden
Donovan drops off Lincoln in front of the Everyday Laundromat (2) near the courthouse. Hop in the red De’Leo Traviata parked in the lot. Watch as the judge’s car leaves the courthouse with police cruisers in front and back.
Follow the motorcade. You can attack anytime you want, but the judge’s car is well-armored and the cops are well-armed. If you want to strike early, accelerate in front of the judge’s car then veer across its path to cut it off. Hop out and quickly toss as many grenades as you can at the target. If you can detonate the car while the judge is still inside, you kill him and complete the objective.
But another option is to patiently follow the motorcade and wait for a better opportunity. Stay right on its tail; at an intersection a few blocks away (3), the trailing cop car peels off the motorcade. Swerve around the cop and speed to get behind the judge’s car as it takes a right-hand turn through a covered passage into an alley.
Stay close until the judge’s car makes a wide right turn in the alley and halts briefly (4). Hurry! It stops for only a few seconds, so hop out of your car and immediately sling multiple grenades at the target. If you toss in time and detonate the car, Judge Holden meets his just end.
Escape
A big yellow circle appears on your map, marking the zone you must escape. Hop back into your hot red Traviata, back up into the street, and drive like a madman until you’re outside the yellow map circle.
