Find That Ring
Bear runs up to Nate, obviously upset about something. Apparently, Bear’s lost his mother’s precious engagement ring. What’s more, the loss has caused his mom to consider leaving for parts unknown! Bear lost the ring at Catfish Pond. Befriend Walkappa, an expert at swimming, and go look for the ring!
Apparently, Bear decided to use a ring as fish bait, believing a rumor that the really big fish like shiny objects.
As you search for the ring with your Yo-kai, something astounding pops out of Catfish Pond!

You’ll find a single sunflower growing by the river. Look at it through the Yo-kai Lens, and you’ll find Walkappa!

To Catch a Carp
Objective 3
Walkappa gives you a Fishing Rod, but to befriend the fellow, you need to catch and deliver at least three Carp. Grab your rod and get moving!
When you’re near water and see the magnifying glass icon, press A to cast your rod.
You can fish for Carp from the riverbed where you met Walkappa. Catch three, and give them to him.

Starting with Chapter 5, you can ask Mr. Zen at Shoten Temple to fuse Yo-kai and/or items for you to power them up.

At regular intervals, this boss fishes up some minions to fight for him. Each of SV Snaggerjag’s companions specializes in one of three tactics: attack, elemental-infused Technique, or healing. If you let the boss have two companions at once, he’ll fire up a Soultimate Move. Hurry and defeat his summoned pals first!
When the boss starts fishing, put a pin on his minions to focus the attack on them!
The Minions
Grumpus: A physical fish, this fellow attacks by tackling.
Meditatum: Uses Fishy Fishy Heal to keep the boss healthy.
Shuter: Attacks with his water-element Technique, Squirt Gun.
