Uptown Springdale

The town where the main characters, Nate and Katie, live is the place where the story begins. There are a lot of narrow paths between buildings. Try to walk along each one at least once. This central location allows direct access to most areas, while water running along each side gives you fishing opportunities.

Map Symbols

	Eyepo	A place where you can substitute Yo-kai and restore HP.
	Watch Lock	Unlocked in accordance with your Yo-kai Watch level.
	Mirapo	Warp points. Available from the end of Chapter 8.
	Chest (Yellow)	The contents of yellow chests are set and can only be opened once.
	Chest (Purple)	Purple chests vary in their contents and regenerate an unlimited number of times.
	Lit Locations	Lit Locations work the same way as purple chests.
	Springdale Underground Waterway Entrance	These entrances can be through manholes, sewer pipes on embankments, or simply doors (solid pink circle). The same symbols on this map and the sewer map denote places where the two areas connect (open pink circle).

Talk to the clerk to buy bread.

Everymart Uptown Springdale Shop

A convenience store that’s conveniently open 24/7.

Piggleston Bank

Photograph the QR code after speaking to the person in charge to receive an item.

Forester House

This is your house if you chose Katie to be your character. Sleep in the bed to pass time and restore HP. A Yo-kai Compendium sits on the floor of the upstairs bedroom.

Jungle Hunter

A shop that deals in bugs and fish.

Springdale Community Center

Requests available inside, as well as Groovalicious’s victory pose shop and a comic. Groovalicious can ony be found here at night.

Lambert Post Office

Internet downloads and password-related windows are covered here in 1-3.

The Fish Place

Talk to the man who runs the shop to buy fish.

Vending Machine

You can find vending machines just about everywhere in Springdale. Each one typically contains two types of drink.

Springdale Elementary

A normal school by day, it’ll become a Yo-kai dungeon once you reach Chapter 9. You’ll need to use the second floor to travel to and from the school building on the north side. The roof is only accessible from the north third floor.

The - numbers on the map correspond with the sequence of actions that you must perform to clear the Story Quest that takes place in the school.

The two Eyepos inside the building’s first floor do not appear during the day when school is in session.

Lonely Waterway

Unlocking the Shady Back Alley Watch Lock allows you to enter Lonely Waterway.

Shady Back Alley

In the center of alleys, you’ll find manholes that lead down into the Springdale Underground Waterway. At the end of this alley, you’ll find a Watch Lock.

The Catwalk

Beyond the Watch Lock lies a manhole that leads into the waterway.

Desolate Lane

The two yellow chests contain valuable items, though you shouldn’t overlook the regenerating purple chest.
