Find Yo-kai Detective Holdit in the parking lot next to Lambert Post Office. He tells you about a criminal Yo-kai and asks you to catch him. The culprit can be found somewhere in town, and appears once a day. (The day changes at 6:00 AM, real time.) These creatures are fast, however, and evade you if chased normally. You’ll have to sneak up to catch them.
Catching a Wanted Yo-kai won’t result in a battle. Nor can you befriend them, so they can’t end up in your Medallium.
Get a Wanted Yo-Kai Password!
Wanted Yo-kai remain at large for one week of real time. If you manage to catch the target three times during this period, you’re rewarded with one character of a longer password. If you don’t, they get away and Detective Holdit issues a warrant for a new Yo-kai criminal. The single character the Yo-criminal provides varies game to game, and there’s 3 to 8 characters in every password, so you’ll need to work with other players to complete each one.
Earning a Trophy
Once you assemble a complete password, enter it at Window No. 2 of Lambert Post Office. You’ll receive a reward item and a trophy. Be sure to input the password as soon as you receive it! The password is no longer valid the moment the new Wanted Yo-kai appears.
Here’s how you want your Trophy Room to look eventually…
Once you own a trophy, you’ll be allowed entry into the Trophy Room in the middle of Gourd Pond Park in Breezy Hills. The trophies you’ve received will be displayed here. Be sure to chat with Goldenyan while you’re there! He just might have a surprise for you.
Goldenyan may give you some coins if you talk to him after earning a trophy.
