As its name implies, this area is quite hilly. The roads are also complicated, so you may lose your way frequently at first. Many of the area chests are well hidden in back alleys and other such areas, so you’ll need to search carefully to find them all.
You can also get on a train at Sunshine Station that takes you all the way to Springdale Central Station (Downtown Springdale).
Bernstein House
The house of Nate’s friend Bear. You can read some 4-panel comics on the third floor.
Candy Stop
A candy store.
Springdale Hot Springs
A hot springs. Drinks may be purchased from the receptionist.
Prayer’s Peak Tunnel
You can reach this area from the side street to the west of Shoten Temple. After completing the game, you’ll be able to enter Infinite Inferno, which lies just ahead.
Timers & More
This shop can raise the Watch Rank for your Yo-kai Watch. You’ll be visiting here often over the course of the game. To fully max out your rank, you must perform four Requests. See the Quests chapter for more information.
Everymart Blossom Heights Shop
A convenience store that is open 24/7. They also purchase items.
Shoten Temple
Yo-kai and items can be fused once you’ve completed Request 18. Combine them early and often.
Byrd House
Complete Request 55 by using the Secret Byway just right of Shoten Temple to find this building.
A Hidden Room inside the house is accessible once you’ve completed Request 100. An event battle also takes place here.
Tucked Away Lot
The purple chests in this alley drop restorative items at a high rate.
Hidden Side Street
There’s a manhole that leads down into the sewers. The Dancing Star found in the yellow chest can be traded for something if you visit the Springdale Community Center at night.
Secret Byway
Investigate brightly lit areas to find items. The Yo-kai Noko that appears here is worth a lot of EXP; you’d be wise to keep that in mind.
Old Mansion
A dungeon you’ll be faced with in Chapter 4. The map’s

hint at the sequence of actions that you must complete.

The first floor of the Main House has a lot of surprise turns that are one-way only. The arrows display their direction.
You’ll need to unlock Watch Lock Rank S before you’ll be able to enter the Side House. The event battle with Corptain occurs in the attic.
