If you select “Yo-kai Cam” from the Title screen and use the 3DS camera to take a photo of someone, you learn that a Yo-kai has Inspirited your subject! You can earn a number of different rewards based on the number of photos you’ve taken and Yo-kai uncovered. Here, we’ll tell you more about what’s available. Taking photos of everyone around you can earn you many of the items mentioned here.
Photo Rewards!
You can pick up rewards at Lambert Post Office for taking certain numbers of Yo-kai Cam photos. However, a photo doesn’t count if it results in a previously generated Yo-kai.

Taking multiple photos of the same person will typically generate the same Yo-kai. Take photos of a lot of different people.
Photo Challenges!
Yo-kai Watch sets a new photo challenge each day. Keep snapping photos until you get a shot of the Yo-kai type called for in the challenge. The challenge changes daily when your 3DS clock hits 6:00 a.m. Occasionally, you get special Yo-kai challenges besides those displayed below.
