• Objectives: Shortly after the mission to destroy the shipping container at the port, Task Force Mako has returned to Karachi to find out who was shipping the explosives. During this mission, you play as “Preacher”. “Mother” feeds you information from a UAV drone flying over the city. Instead of using rifles and grenades for this mission, you are driving a SUV. The target you are observing during the stakeout is killed by a member of a terrorist cell. Now you have to chase him down to find out why he killed your target and who is behind the hit—and the explosives.

Story

“Eight Weeks Ago” Preacher and Mother return to the scene of the explosion in the first level. The plan is simple: indentify whoever shows up to find out why their container failed to reach its destination and follow them. Unfortunately, when the contact shows up, he is shot on sight. Overhead surveillance shows a vehicle leaving the area, this shooter holds the key to what or who is behind that shipment. Preacher pursues the vehicle through the crowded streets and muddy slums of Karachi. But will he get back to Mother at the extraction point?

Hospital Part 1

Back at the Hospital, we learn that Preacher survived the train station blast, and that Lena and Bella thankfully missed their train and were spared as well. Mother is there too and has something to tell him about these attacks.

Chase the Target

The assassin who killed your target is your only link to the truth. He is taking off in a white SUV. Hit the gas and follow after him. Make a turn to the right and then, as you approach the side of the dock, turn to the left. Keep the pedal to the metal as you crash through a fence and stay on the tail of the white SUV.

The white SUV follows the road around in a 180-degree right turn. Keep the throttle down and you should have no trouble making this wide turn. At the first intersection, your target takes a left turn. If necessary, tap the brakes a bit to stay in the turn. However, don’t let up on the gas.

The road up ahead is blocked by trucks, so follow your target on a side road leading through an oil refinery. This side road has a few easy turns before you need to make a tight right turn back onto the main road.

Shortly after driving along the main road, the white SUV takes a left turn into another refinery area. This has some right turns here, so be ready to tap the brakes right before entering the turn. Avoid running into something solid, such as a building. This brings your vehicle to a complete stop, forcing you to reverse the vehicle and allowing the target to get away.

After exiting the refinery area, you must drive through an urban area. Watch out for a locomotive coming from the left. Get across the tracks before this train blocks your path. Make a right turn after the tracks and then follow the white SUV through some narrow streets before making a left turn onto a main road.

Dodge the traffic on the main road. Remember that in Pakistan, traffic drives on the left instead of the right. This is a chance to make up some distance and get in closer to your target. Watch for a side street on the mini map off to the left and be ready to follow the SUV as it makes the left turn to try to lose you.

The side street is little more than an alley with some 90-degree turns in both directions. Tap the brakes as you go around some of these turns to avoid smacking into a building. Don’t worry about crashing through objects in the middle of the alley. There is a tight spot in the alley after a bit of a straightaway. Be sure to line up your vehicle to make it through the gap in between buildings.

As you get to the end of the alley, make a right onto another main street. There is a lot of traffic here, so you need to look for gaps and openings to drive through. You may even need to push other cars out of your way. As the road clears a bit, you can even drive on the sidewalk to get around vehicles so you don’t get too far behind your target.

After driving a good stretch along the main road, the white SUV takes a left turn followed by another left turn. Keep your speed up and cut across the sidewalks so you can take the turns faster than if you stayed on the roads. Follow your target through a right turn and then along a road that curves to the left.

In an effort to try to lose you, the SUV makes a right turn and crashes through a street market. Follow him through the stalls and line up your vehicle to drive through narrow openings in a couple of buildings so you don’t wreck. Continue through more of the market and then turn right onto another road.

Where the road comes to a fork, stay to the right and get ready for a tight turn to the right followed by an even tighter turn to the left. Slow down a bit as you drive through these alleys. This is one of the tougher spots of the mission since there are a lot of places you can crash into the corner of a building and let the target get away. This is where keeping one eye on the mini map can really help you prepare for upcoming turns.

The SUV leads you out of the alleys and across an open field before rejoining a main road. Watch out for oncoming traffic and cut corners by driving across sidewalks to save time and maintain your speed.

When the main road makes a turn to the left at an intersection, your way is blocked by trucks and busses. Drive past the truck and turn left down an alley that runs parallel to the road. Slow down a bit so you can make this tight turn and a couple more before returning to the main road.

After a short distance, the white SUV turns left off of the main road and then takes an immediate right into a narrow alley. This is a tough turn. You have a van on your right side making the turn as well and must avoid running into a parked truck blocking the road. If you overcorrect on either turn, you crash into either the truck or a building and end up losing your target. Keep your speed up right until you need to cut into the alley. Then tap the brakes to slow your vehicle down a bit so you can make the turns successfully.

At the end of the alley and its tight turns, make a right onto a main road. At the first intersection, follow the SUV to the right, followed by an immediate left. Cut across a parking area rather than turning at the intersection to avoid traffic. Then make a left at the roundabout, careful not to run into the structure in the middle of the road.

Turn right at the next intersection and then be ready to follow the white SUV in a left turn into the slums. It is important to stay close to the SUV since it is easy to lose sight of it in the slums—even if it is not that far in front of you. However, don’t try to gun it through these narrow alleys. Tap the brakes before entering turns so you don’t slide into a building and crash.

The SUV crashes through a building and leaves a fireball in its path. Don’t try to follow it through the rubble. Instead, steer to the right and drive across a bridge to a road that runs parallel to the SUV’s road. Don’t worry, he has to cross over to your side eventually. Use this straight stretch of road without any traffic to catch up to your target.

Once you get back behind the white SUV, you can stay in close since your vehicle can handle the turns in the slums a bit faster than the target. On the straightaways get right in behind the SUV and stay in tight.

When you come to a turn and the white SUV has to take it wide, cut inside the turn and crash into the side of the SUV to take it out.

Once the SUV slides to a stop, “Preacher” exits from his vehicle, walks over to the white SUV, and gets the driver’s cell phone. This should provide some good intel and hopefully lead you to the terrorist leaders.
