Mission Map
Interrogate Faraz
Chase Faraz
As “Preacher” and Ajab begin to move in behind Faraz for the capture, the target takes off running. “Mother”, who was waiting in the car, joins in the pursuit. While you are armed, do not fire at Faraz. You need him alive. Instead, you need to run after him and prevent him from getting away.
Follow Faraz up a flight of stairs and across a series of balconies and upper walkways. Watch for places where you need to jump from one building to the next. You may lose sight of him when he goes around a corner, so listen to “Dusty” on the comms. He is tracking Faraz using a UAV surveillance drone that is orbiting the area. “Dusty” lets you know to turn right or left.
After moving across several rooftops, Faraz drops back down to the ground and heads towards a junkyard. Stay on his tail so you don’t lose him in the junk. Ajab and “Mother” are following behind you, but don’t wait up for them. Keep running.
As Faraz takes a turn to the left while running away from you, “Dusty” calls in and tells you he sees men with weapons headed your way. The foot race has now become a firefight. Locate some cover and get behind it, then take shots at the several terrorists who are attacking you. Watch out for grenades that they throw to try to get you out from behind your cover.
After clearing an area, keep running after Faraz. “Mother” and Ajab catch up to you and help with the fighting. While you need to hurry so Faraz does not get away, it is important to take time to find cover—especially if you are taking hits. The enemy has a lot of firepower, so don’t try to run and gun or you will end up dead in the dust.
Your rifle is equipped with a scope, so use it—especially against enemies at longer range. This gives you an advantage. Watch for the enemy to run at you or rush from cover to cover and hit them while they are exposed. If they get behind cover, wait from them to peek or lean and then get in a headshot.
There are a lot of things you can use for cover during the chase, from stacks of tires to lumber or wood crates—even vehicles. However, watch for enemies waiting to flank you. They sometimes hide until you run past them and then rush out to attack. Fire bursts from the hip. Even if you don’t hit them, they will usually duck or try to seek cover instead of continuing their attack. This gives you a chance to follow up with aimed fire to kill them or to seek cover of your own. If it is only one or two, take them out. Any more and you need to find some cover.
Any time Faraz makes a turn, be ready for an ambush. Let “Mother” and Ajab take cover and begin firing while you approach the turn from the side. This can give you the opportunity to flank enemies while they are focused on your teammates.
When Faraz leaps over a broken brick wall and moves through a small, ruined building, take caution. Fire through the window at a hostile behind some cover on the other side or he can seriously hurt you. Then take a right to exit the building. Hang next to the building and lean around the corner to engage the enemies as they attack or try to flee from you. Kill them, then advance to the cover they have vacated.
As Faraz is running along a series of power lines, right after you move away from the ruined building, find some good cover. There are several enemies up ahead. Use your scope and pick them off at long range. Some try to rush towards you and try to flank your position. Kill them as they move or when they peek out from behind cover. Just be careful not to shoot Faraz.
Look for the building where the power lines go down. There are some enemies inside that snipe at you. Get some cover and kill them before they kill you. By the time you take out these targets, the area should be clear. Reload as you continue the chase after Faraz.
Rush after Faraz as he crosses a bridge. He is headed towards his compound where he thinks he will be safe. Therefore, you can expect a lot more opposition up ahead.
As Faraz heads into the compound, rush after him. After dropping down from a broken bridge, take cover behind some rocks. Pick off some of the hostiles. Then, as it clears out, rush forward. Once you are in among the remaining enemies, engage them with close-range fire or rush them with a melee attack before they can respond.
Clear Faraz’s Compound
By now, “Mother” and Ajab have caught up with you. While “Mother” takes cover to one side of the gate to Faraz’s compound, take cover on the other side. Between the two of you, lean around the side of the gate and start picking off enemies inside. Watch for those hostiles that rush you. Be ready with a quick melee attack and then continue firing into the compound.
Clear the area near the gate, then rush into the compound and take cover. Engage more enemies in this first area. They come at you from the sides as well as from behind a building in the middle. Once they are all dead, Faraz runs farther into the compound.
“Mother” orders you to go right around the building in the middle. Move through a small alley along the side of the building. Then stop and peek around the edge of the building to see a technical pick-up truck with a machine gun in the bed. Aim and take out the machine gunner before he can attack you or Ajab, who is going around the left side of the building. Continue firing at other hostiles in this area. From this spot, you can kill enemies on the ground as well as on the roofs of the buildings.
Faraz runs through the back gate of the compound as he continues fleeing from you. Find a position behind cover from where you have a good view of the gate. Hostiles come pouring out of that gate. Pick them off one at a time and also watch the roofs near the gate. Stay put until no more enemies come through the gate.
Once it is clear, Ajab and “Mother” rush through the gate. Follow them, take an immediate left, and drop down into a village area. The chase is on again.
As you run down a path between buildings, watch for enemies along the side and up ahead. Let your teammates lead and let them flush out enemies for you to take out with long-range fire.
When you come to a low wall, jump over it and continue to a turn to the left. Hold here and take cover. There are several hostiles up ahead. Pick them off. Watch out for one that tries to snipe at you from the rubble of a building. Kill them all, and then take up the chase again.
As you are running, a few enemies try to attack. They usually fire a bit and then run. Don’t worry about cover—just take aim and kill them before they can get to cover. As you approach a small wooden bridge ahead, look for a terrorist crouched down on it. Locate and then neutralize this threat before continuing along the path.
As you approach the bridge, turn to the left and quickly take cover behind some rocks. Time to snipe at enemies up ahead. There are a few on the roof of the building—including one with an RPG— and others on the ground. Kill the RPG terrorist first, then clear out the rest before advancing any further. Your teammates are nearby, so get some ammo from them if you are running low.
When the chase icon appears on the screen, you know Faraz is on the move again. Rush forward through a small building. The enemy is on the run. Try to kill any enemies as you see them. Continue up a short flight of stairs and then drop down into an alley and turn to the left.
Take cover behind a vehicle and engage more enemies up ahead who are covering Faraz’s escape. Kill them and then advance. As you do, more enemies rush towards you. Gun them down or hit them with a melee attack if they get too close.
Now sprint up another short flight of stairs and continue along the path between buildings. “Mother” takes the lead, so follow him. Keep going until you see Faraz climbing over a low wall to try to get away.
Run after Faraz and as you get near, you tackle him. While you are holding him and waiting for Ajab to bring the van around, “Mother” begins interrogating him about where the P.E.T.N. came from. Faraz tells you he got it from a man named Hassan. However, before he can say more, he is killed by a sniper. You may be next, so the two of you take cover.
Exfiltrate
Get to the Exfil Point
“Dusty” calls in and tells you there is a nearby building. Get to it and Ajab will pick up you there. There are a lot of terrorists coming after you, so start running down a path between buildings. Don’t even try to take cover and fight the hostiles behind you. Your best chance of survival is to run away—as fast as you can.
“Mother” leads the way. When it looks like you have hit a dead end, move through a door to the right and then drop down into a gully leading down to the building where Ajab is to pick you up.
As you begin to approach the building, several hostiles pour out and begin attacking. Quickly seek cover. You need to clear them out before Ajab can get to you. There are hostiles behind cover in front of the building as well as on the upper walkway and near the door. Peek or lean around your cover and pick them off one at a time. Move forward and take cover behind the vehicle and then begin engaging hostiles inside the building by firing through the doorway.
Rush forward towards the door and take cover to one side. “Mother” follows and moves to the other side of the door. Watch for hostiles coming down the stairs and fire at those inside.
After the stairs are clear, sprint up the stairs. Stay low as you get to the top and a low wall provides cover for you. There is a break in the wall. Move towards it and fire down on the enemy below from a flanking position. They are open targets for you.
Once the building is clear, rush back down the stairs and make your way to the front door where “Mother” is waiting. Breach the door and rush through it.
As you get out the door, you automatically take out a couple enemies and climb into the van as soon as Ajab brings it to a screeching and brief halt. He then drives away as fast as possible to get you away from a lot of terrorists who want you and your team dead. While you were not successful in capturing Faraz, you did get a name—Hassan.
