Xenoblade Chronicles X eGuide The Miran Unification Quest Affinity Missions

A Girls Wings

Mission Prerequisites

  • Level: 33.
  • Complete chapter 9.
  • Obtain a Skell license.
  • Accept the “Flight Module” basic mission from the mission board.

Mission Walkthrough

This mission is one of the biggies, and it’s highly beneficial to complete it ASAP. This gives you the flight module for your Skells—once you have it, there’s almost nowhere you can’t go on Mira.

That said, such power requires a test of worthiness: You’ll have to take on this entire mission by yourself if you want the goods.

New Affinity Mission: A Girl’s Wings

The Skell flight module has failed in testing a few too many times. See if you can help it get through development.

Objective 1
Achieve all objectives:
  • Get an upgraded coil from the oc-servs of Sylvalum.
  • Get a light-speed jet fin from the aetrygons of Oblivia.

You can find aetrygons around the watery areas of Oblivia and the oc-servs at the northern exit out of Seabird’s Beak in Sylvalum. It’ll just be you and your Skell fighting these, so be careful. Still, these are low-level indigens that shouldn’t prove a problem.

Objective 2
Head to the Outfitters Test Hangar in the Industrial District.

When you come out of the cutscene, you’re in a Skell equipped with the experimental flight system. Time to put it to the test! Jump while inside the Skell to activate flight automatically.

Objective 3
Install a data probe at FrontierNav site 110.

Sector 110 is the Talon Rock Summit, which has been, until now, too high to reach. Fly up until you reach the top of Talon Rock’s overpass. The probe point will be in plain sight.

Objective 4
Go to Vandham at the Outfitters Test Hangar in the Industrial District.

Mechanical Advancement: The Sky’s the Limit

Congratulations—your Skells now have flight capabilities! Now you can discover previously inaccessible territories, enemies, and treasures hidden in the skies!
