MONARCH GALA
Jack makes his way to the Monarch mansion, which is caught in the middle of a stutter. Finding Beth there, frozen with all the other party guests, he frees her from the stutter, then hands her the Chronon harness—while wearing it, she won’t get stuck in a stutter even if another one hits.
Making their way into the mansion, they find Dr. Amaral. She’s frozen in the stutter, and, it turns out, in mortal danger—there’s a Monarch drone that has mysteriously veered off course, and is about to crash through the window into the room she’s in. Jack frees her from the stutter, saving her life, and while she isn’t particularly cooperative, she doesn’t have much choice but to come along as ordered by these two armed people.
As the stutter collapses, Monarch security forces finally realize what’s going on. Beth and Dr. Amaral escape on a boat, while Jack covers their escape. He then steals a car and escapes the mansion himself.

There are a handful of offices and conference rooms that Jack can search in this area. The conference room to the right has a whiteboard inside.
The conference room to the left has a few laptops inside that Jack can Interact with.
Not finding anything of real value to further his understanding what Paul Serene or Monarch are up to, Jack decides to head upstairs and to enter the only open room there.
Jack continues to search for information, but most of the offices are locked and this eventually leads him down a path and down a staircase toward the parking garage.
As Jack reaches the bottom of the staircase, he finds a Chronon source near the elevator.
Jack turns around and sees the entrance to the garage, but the door is unstable.
Jack has a little bit of time in the garage before the stutter collapses, but once it does every enemy in the area begins attacking.
Once Jack has eliminated all of the hostiles, he heads to the control room in the back corner of the garage.
As Jack opens the door, an LMG tech busts through the door and knocks Jack back.
Once Jack overcomes the LMG tech, he must return to the control room and turn off the alarm.
When Jack returns to the garage, another wave of hostiles entersthe area.
As Jack leaves the garage and proceeds toward the roof area where the gala is held, he finds a radio on top of a generator in the maintenance room.
Exiting the maintenance area, Jack enters a staircase that leads to the roof. There’s is a bright glow in a corner beneath the staircase.
In the meantime, Beth has located Dr. Amaral at the gala. Knowing the urgency of the situation, Jack runs up the staircase that leads to the roof of the complex.
He heads left and climbs another set of stairs.
As he emerges from the last flight of stairs, Jack sees another Chronon source above, near a gate.
The gate on that end of the complex is locked. Jack turns around, walks down a flight of stairs, and then follows the path around the hilltop. There are several dangerous gaps in the catwalk and Jack must time his jumps carefully.
He successfully jumps along the catwalk pieces and continues toward the open parking lot below.
As Jack reaches the parking lot, he realizes that it is protected by a Chronon Dampener, which drains his powers significantly.
The parking lot is heavily defended with strikers and technicians, and Jack must overcome them before he can turn off the dampener. Once he does, an LMG tech appears on the other side of the parking lot.
Once the LMG tech and other enemies are eliminated, Jack stands near the Monarch box truck and uses Time Vision to rewind this truck and open the tunnel.
Jack follows the tunnel path and heads down the driveway on the left.
Jack enters the reception area of the gala and finds a tablet in the truck on the right.
Interestingly, there’s a Chronon source right at the podium where Paul gave his speech earlier.
The party moved further upstairs and into the mansion. Jack runs up a flight of stairs to find Beth—and to finally locate their objective, Dr. Amaral. Beth is also stuck in the Time Stutter. A cutscene triggers and Jack gives Beth the belt.
Jack walks behind the buffet table and finds a piece of Intel.
Jack also locates a Chronon source behind the buffet table.
Beth is convinced that Sofia Amaral is somewhere inside the mansion. Jack follows her up more stairs as Beth tries to find Sofia.
Along the way into the mansion, Jack sees a tablet on a bench.
As they search for Amaral, Jack sees a Chronon source and runs over to it.
Jack unfreezes Sofia Amaral, but she does not want to help them. Only when a Monarch Drone appears and immediately opens fire, does she agree to go with them. The best way out is on boat, but they are closing the boat gate. Jack decides that he will take care of it.
Jack jumps down to the boardwalk and continues toward the sniper. He must take out several Monarch operatives and the sniper in this area, then proceed toward the patio/boathouse area to unlock the gate and to guarantee Beth and Sofia’s escape.
As Jack fights his way across the grounds, there’s a turret on the right side, around the large rock.
He also encounters some operatives and an LMG tech on the patio.
Once the wave of enemies is clear, find a Chronon source in the back-left corner of the patio, above a plant.
Beth wants to pick Jack up so they can all escape together, but Jack insists that Dr. Amaral must be kept safe. His plan is to fight his way back to the mansion, steal a car, and then escape over the bridge to the mainland. They will meet at the swimming pool.
As Jack makes his way back to the mansion, a significant number of hostiles block his path, including a sniper, two LMG techs, and several operatives.
