Bob-ombs are dangerous, but they’re also very useful. Attack a Bob-omb to trigger its detonation sequence, then place it on the volcanoes scattered throughout the level. All volcanoes contain coins, but some also contain 1-Up Mushrooms.
When you reach Point 2, use the Bob-ombs to clear a path to the Star Coin. The nearby cannons provide a steady supply of these explosive enemies, so make sure you clear enough space to dodge new arrivals as you collect the Star Coin.
The second Star Coin is hidden below the quicksand at Point 3. Look for the coins that mark the secret entrance, then sink down to the hidden area.
When you reach the hidden area, use a Bob-omb to destroy the volcano’s red crust. After the explosion, a Star Coin appears near the top of the cavern.
The level’s last Star Coin is floating high above the ground. Stand on one of the nearby cannons and wait for it to fire a Bob-omb. Just after the Bob-omb deploys its parachute, make a running leap onto the enemy and bounce up to the Star Coin.
After you pass through the Red Ring at Point 5, collect the red coins to the right. Stomp on any Bob-ombs that drift into your path, and grab each red coin before it drifts out of reach.
