Super Mushroom

When used, a Super Mushroom transforms Mario into Super Mario.

Mega Mushroom

When collected, a Mega Mushroom transforms Mario into Mega Mario.

Gold Mushroom

In the Coin Rush Game Mode, all 1-Up Mushrooms are replaced by Gold Mushrooms. Gold Mushrooms provide bonus coins.

Fire Flower

When used, a Fire Flower transforms Mario into Fire Mario.

Gold Flower

When used, a Gold Flower transforms Mario into Gold Mario.

Super Leaf

When used, a Super Leaf transforms Mario into Raccoon Mario.

Invincibility Leaf

When collected, an Invincibility Leaf transforms Mario into White Raccoon Mario.

Super Star

When collected, a Super Star grants Mario temporary invincibility. While this power-up is active, Mario also has the ability to defeat virtually any creature simply by touching it.

Coin

You’ll find coins scattered throughout the game. Each time you collect 100 coins, you’re rewarded with an extra life.

Star Coin

Most hostile levels contain three Star Coins. Collect these valuable items and use them to open locked paths.

Moon Coin

All of the hostile levels within Star World contain three Moon Coins.

Red Ring

Pass through a Red Ring to initiate a brief challenge. For a short time after you activate a Red Ring, eight red coins appear in the area. If you manage to collect all eight red coins before they vanish, you’ll be rewarded with a power-up.

Gold Ring

When you pass through a Gold Ring, enemies within the area transform into gold versions of themselves. While a Gold Ring is active, you earn coins for each enemy you defeat.

Block

Blocks can serve a variety of purposes. Some Blocks act as platforms, while other Blocks act as obstacles. Many Blocks contain hidden items such as coins, power-ups, and switches.

? Block

? Blocks always contain some sort of item. These useful objects are a common source of power-ups.

10-Coin Block

10-Coin Blocks may look like common Blocks, but they’re potentially much more valuable. After you hit a 10-Coin Block, you have a short time in which you’ll earn one coin for each additional hit. If you manage to collect at least 10 coins within the time limit, it transforms into a Gold Block!

Gold Block

Hit a Gold Block from above or below to equip it. After you do, you’ll generate coins as you move around the level.

The Gold Block lasts until you take damage, complete the level, or use it to generate 100 coins—whichever comes first.

POW Block

When you hit a POW Block, it sends a shock wave through the immediate area. The blast generally affects all nearby Blocks and enemies.

Roulette Coin Block

Roulette Coin Blocks cycle through a series of coin values. When you hit a Roulette Coin Block, you receive the displayed amount of coins.

Assist Block

An Assist Block appears if you lose fives lives within a single level without completing it. When this happens, you can hit it to reveal an Invincibility Leaf.
