The first Star Coin is located at Point 1. Wait for the pink toadstool to tilt up toward the orange toadstool, then make a running leap to the Star Coin.
This level contains two Gold Rings. Before you approach a Gold Ring, it’s usually best to stomp a Koopa and grab its shell.
Pass through the Gold Ring to transform all of the enemies in the area—including any Koopas tucked inside of their shells! When you throw a Gold Shell, it leaves a trail of coins while it moves through the area.
The second Star Coin is located in a hidden area. When you reach Point 3, enter the blue pipe near the top of the screen.
Move across the toadstools to the right. When you reach the last platform, jump through the Star Coin and exit the area.
Pass through the Red Ring at Point 4, then grab the red coins that appear to the right.
The last red coin is hanging from a parachute, so make sure you grab it before it drifts out of reach.
The last Star Coin is located in another hidden area. Stand in the center of the large red toadstool at Point 5, then jump up to hit the Invisible Block above you. Wait for the Beanstalk to grow, then climb up to the hidden area.
Hit the P Switch at the top of the Beanstalk, then follow the trail of blue coins as it zigzags inside of the Block enclosure. As you approach the top of the enclosure, wall jump up to the last ledge. Grab the Star Coin before the P Switch deactivates.
