Stomp the Koopa at Point 1 and use its shell to smash the nearby Block. Slide through the gap and follow the path to find an Super Star hidden in a ? Block. Use this temporary power-up to defeat the Fire Snakes patrolling the platforms above you, then deal with other nearby enemies.
Slide under the platform at Point 2 to reach the level’s first Star Coin.
When you jump through the Red Ring at Point 3, some red coins appear on the staggered platforms to the right. As you grab the red coins, try to keep your jumps relatively small. Leaping out of position can cost you valuable seconds!
Use a Super Leaf to reach the Roulette Coin Block at Point 4. You can attempt to collect one of these power-ups from the Roulette Block at Point 1, but it’s best to bring a Super Leaf into the level.
The pipe at Point 5 leads to a secret area.
After you pass through the pipe, wait for the room to fill with Goombas. When there are plenty of enemies in the area, stomp one and bounce up to the Gold Ring. Jump from Goomba to Goomba to earn coins until the Gold Ring wears off.
After you use the Gold Ring, ground pound the Block near the middle of the room. After you smash the Block, move right to drop down the front of the taller yellow platform. After you land, ride the stone slab down to the cavern floor.
Follow the path to the right to find a Star Coin floating above a Roulette Coin Block.
Before you drop down to the exit, grab the Star Coin from the small nook at Point 7.
