There’s a Red Ring floating above the toadstools at Point 1. When you pass through the Red Ring, eight red coins appear in the area. Jump to either side and drop down to the lowest toadstool. Collect the first four red coins as you bounce back up along the toadstools, then repeat the process to collect the remaining coins.
The first Star Coin is floating above the toadstools at Point 2. As you bounce up along the toadstools, dodge any Goombas that emerge from the nearby pipes.
When you reach the top of the toadstools, bounce up and collect the Star Coin above you.
One of the ? Blocks at Point 3 contains a Mini Mushroom. If you intend to collect the remaining Star Coins, make sure you grab this power-up.
The second Star Coin is located in a hidden area. As Mini Mario, jump on one of the Koopa Paratroopas at Point 4, and bounce on its head as it flies toward the small pipe above you. Bounce up and enter the pipe when you’re within range.
After you pass through the pipe, hit the ? Block to the right. Grab the Super Star, then bounce up to the green pipe at the center of the area. Enter the pipe to launch yourself at the Star Coin above you.
The third Star Coin is floating just past the Koopa Paratroopas at Point 5. Jump onto the nearest enemy, and bounce on its head as it circles to the left.
Hop over to the second group of Koopa Paratroopas, and bounce on one of the enemies as it passes under the Star Coin. Continue to bounce the across the third group of enemies and return to solid ground.
