Many of the platforms in this level react to Mario’s weight. Once you activate one of these platforms, you can’t stop it. However, each time you touch a platform, it switches between two predetermined directions.
The first Star Coin is floating near the bottom of the area. Jump on the platform at Point 2 and move it toward the bottom of the screen.
When you spot the Star Coin, adjust the platform as needed. After you collect it, move back toward the top of the screen.
The second Star Coin is located in a hidden area. Stand on the ? Blocks at Point 3, then jump up to reveal the Beanstalk in the Invisible Block above you.
Climb to the top of the Beanstalk, then activate the platform to the right. Steer around the obstacles in your path and collect the Star Coin near the top of the area.
There’s a Red Ring floating at Point 4. If you choose to pass through it, watch out for the incoming Bullet Bills. The first red coin appears just above the Bullet Bills’ flight path. If you manage to collect it, you shouldn’t have any trouble following the trail.
The last Star Coin is floating at Point 5. Follow the trail of Bill Blasters until you spot it. The Star Coin is located in a Banzai Bill’s flight path—as you approach it, be prepared to stomp incoming enemies.
