The first Star Coin is located beneath the boulders at Point 1. To collect it, drop down onto one of the Donut Blocks just as the boulders move away. If you time it properly, the Donut Block should drop down to the Star Coin before the boulders return.
To collect the second Star Coin, look for the hidden path at Point 2. Make a running leap up to the ledge, then dash through the coins to the right. If you’re playing as Raccoon Mario, this should fill your Power Meter.
Fly to the right to find some platforms located high above the ground. Follow these platforms to find a Star Coin at the end of the path.
There’s a Gold Flower hidden in this level. To collect this valuable power-up, you must find it before the boulder rolling through the area destroys it! Stomp one of the nearby Koopas, grab its shell, and race along the platforms as the boulder rolls along the ground.
When you pull ahead of the boulder, throw the shell to the right and follow it. When the shell hits the Block near the Checkpoint Flag, jump down and grab the Gold Flower.
Enter the pipe at Point 4 to find a hidden room containing a Roulette Coin Block.
The third Star Coin is hidden near Point 5. When you spot the Gold Ring, turn back and make a running leap to the ledge in the upper-left corner of your screen.
After you land, move left to find the Star Coin floating at the end of the path.
