Activate the Fly Drone, and it automatically enters City Hall, canvassing the building for KVA terrorists. You can pan the camera left and right with the Right Stick as the drone flies through the building. It ends up at the conference room, where enemies are holding the Prime Minister hostage. Once you gain control, use the Left Stick to move the Fly Drone around. Circle it around the KVA leader as the scene plays out.
Upon witnessing the fallout of the conversation, Gideon decides it is time to rescue the Prime Minister. Two weapons are available for exchange in the starting location: the SN6 Red Dot Sight and the Bal-27 Hybrid Sight. Follow the team into an apartment complex, turn left, and take the stairs up to a roof access. Knock down the door to find yourself on a rooftop across the street from City Hall.
Hop onto the left platform, and follow Gideon until he stops. Leap across the small building below, and approach the objective marker on the side of City Hall. Hold the Use button to attach to the wall with your gloves, move around the window, and continue to the rooftop above.
To the right is a breach point above the meeting room where the Fly Drone spotted the terrorists. Plant a Mute Charge before Gideon sets off a special cutter that drops you inside. As you fall, take out the enemy straight ahead while your squad eliminates the rest.
Follow the others out of the room, and approach the Lagos City Hall insignia on the far wall. Plant the Harmonic Device just to the left. This allows you to see silhouettes of people and objects on the other side. Tag the four terrorists in the conference room by placing the reticle on each one to highlight them, and then pressing the Fire button. Targets are highlighted green when you hover over them and they highlight red when you tag them.
There are two terrorists on this side of the table and another two on the other side. The targeted person’s heart rate is displayed on screen. Innocent bystanders have a quick pulse in the 150s, while the terrorists are calmer at around 90 bpm. Studs in the wall interfere with the process, so be sure you keep the reticle between the beams. If you take too long, a hostage is killed, so be quick. Once you have tagged all four enemies, press the Use button to lock in the targets and fire at one by pressing the Fire trigger. The rest of your squad eliminates the others.
Enter the conference room, and free the Prime Minster from his restraints by pressing the Use button.
Exit the room out the side door, and descend the stairwell until you are back outside. Cut through the lobby of the building next door, and enter the busy roundabout ahead just as an enemy starts to cause havoc with his rocket launcher.
Duck behind the short wall, and take down the enemy who stands atop the far bus. Adversaries surround much of the circle, and more drop in from the road above. Overdrive allows you to slow things down a bit, but watch your battery. The Riot Shield can be a bigger help if you take too much damage. Stay on the move. Once you’ve reduced the threat a bit, dodge in and out of the cars as you eliminate the remaining foes.
Once the roundabout is void of the opposition, follow the team into the Famolue Shopping Centre, ducking behind the fence on the left when you spot an opening. More terrorists occupy the next intersection. The left building offers some cover as you clear out the area. Watch out for the terrorists on the balconies, as they have the better angle on your squad.
Follow your group to a gate ahead as Joker opens the way for you. As you reach the next intersection, a technical shows up. Quickly turn right and run up the steps to avoid its gunfire. More enemies pour out from the upper floor ahead, so take cover. Pick off as many of the hostiles from your current location as you can before hopping down into the courtyard.
Tac-19 Shotgun
If you haven’t swapped out your secondary weapon, you are still wielding the Tac-19. This is a very powerful shotgun that is great for close combat. It isn’t very effective in these medium- to long-range gunfights, but pull it out as you move between locations and cut through buildings. It deals a quick death to anyone who gets in your way.
Take out any remaining foes as you enter the room in the far corner. Exit out the other side, where you come face-to-face with the technical. Quickly duck behind the left building until it passes.
The armored turret sits on the far side of another open area. You must flank its operator and take him out before he does too much damage. Duck into the left building and take out any enemies that you can get to from the relative safety inside. Continue around the perimeter and kill any remaining foes that get in your way. Be careful, though; innocent bystanders also populate the area.
Enter the far building, next to the technical, and take out the soldier in the back of the truck, along with any remaining enemies. Rejoin your team who wait at the next gate.
Restock your weapons at the ammo stash, and then use your gloves to climb over the closed gate. Around the next corner, you reach a busy divided road with KVA enemies positioned in the median. Use the planters for cover as you pick them off from your side of the street. Be careful that you do not shoot the civilian vehicles as they pass by.
Cross the first street to the middle area, as more enemies show up on the far side, including two Dobermans. Use the planters and barricades for cover as you eliminate the remaining threat. Continue to the far side of the highway. Watch out, as a final foe may still remain to the right.
At the chain-link fence, Gideon creates an opening, so climb onto the wall. As a bus drives by, jump onto its roof when prompted.
KVA SUVs continually pull alongside the bus, attempting to keep you away from the box truck. Jump over to another bus that drives in the center lane, and concentrate gunfire at the enemies.
Vault over to a third bus when it appears next to you. As you hold onto the side of the vehicle, use your handgun to take out the two foes behind an armored truck. From there, on-screen prompts get you back on the bus.
A helicopter shows up just ahead. Fire at the chopper as you hop onto another bus. Once you’ve downed the chopper, continue on to another bus before moving onto your target vehicle. Be ready with a press of the Use button, and then take out the two terrorists inside with your handgun.
Immediately, move toward the box truck and open the back when prompted. Follow Gideon to complete the mission.
