Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Signature Series Strategy Guide MULTIPLAYER MAPS

Solar

A solar array near New Baghdad, Solar is another cleanly divided three-lane map, with several routes between the lanes and quite a few power rooftop positions that can cover the lanes.

Map Scorestreak: Solar Reflection Tower. Gain control of the central solar tower, and incinerate the opposing team with a directed blast of raw energy. The beam from the tower moves fairly slowly. Try to get it into position near the greatest number of enemies, or use it to control a key objective area for the duration of the Map Scorestreak.

Although this is another clean three-lane map, be wary of the central area, which is overlooked by multiple rooftops and has little in the way of cover. There is a tunnel where you can sneak in from the side, and it provides limited protection from enemies lurking above. Your best bet for surviving the middle is to either cover it from the rooftops yourself, or only enter the center for objectives, with teammates covering you.

The two outer lanes have slightly more disrupted line of sight, though both still have plenty of rooftop coverage. Use your Exo movement to traverse them quickly or evade attackers if the pressure gets too heavy. There are only a few places where you can transition from the outer lanes to the center. If you stay alert to enemy movements, you can shut down any attempts to cross over.

The areas around the team spawns are quite small, but you can use them to flank around opponents who are camping around the central area. Long-range weaponry can thrive here if you stay mobile and keep your distance. Fighting in CQC is harder, as you must work to get into short range safely.
