Ector wants me to reacquire the final missing Automaton piece, the Heart, from a gentleman called Clockwise. He says the man has succumbed to madness so who knows what to expect.

Clockwise’s house is quiet...too quiet. Plunder the entry room without fear, filling your pockets with a ring, letter opener, and wineglass. The letter on the table is a duplicate of a document you’ve already acquired back in Ector’s Emporium.

Thieving Challenge: “Lift all loot items” (3/23)
Go upstairs next and grab a scroll holder off a small table. Enter the nearby bathroom to find a letter opener and a ring, then go down the hall and claim another scroll holder. Search the bedrooms for more loot and a few informative documents, along with a collectible that’s stashed in a cabinet.

Go back downstairs and begin exploring the first floor. Snatch a teacup off the table in the west room, where a Baron’s bust is on display. Collect the Baron’s bust and press the display case’s switch. Watch in awe as the room’s walls shift around. This certainly is a house of mystery!
Thieving Challenge: “Lift all loot items” (13/23)
Enter the south room and collect the diary on the table. Snatch the wineglass in the corner, then raid the east and west rooms to claim even more documents and plunder.

After you’ve raided every room, press the switch on the east room’s north wall to shift the walls again. Backtrack to the west room and go north to visit three new rooms. Claim another document and a few more pieces of loot from these rooms as you explore.

Thieving Challenge: “Lift all loot items” (20/23)
Backtrack a bit and press the switch on the east wall of the first of the three “new” rooms you’ve accessed. This lets you explore a sitting room that lies up north and to the east. Go there to claim a wineglass and document, then find a trigger book on the sitting room’s bookshelf. Pull the trigger book to make the bookshelf slide away, revealing a switch.

Thieving Challenge: “Lift all loot items” (21/23)
Press the switch behind the bookshelf to shift the walls once more. Backtrack out of the room and go west to discover a new room to the kitchen’s south. Swipe the scroll holder from the new room’s shelf, and use Focus to identify a loose brick in the south wall. Press this to uncover a secret elevator that delivers you up to the attic.

Area 2: Clockwise’s Workshop
Clockwise has converted his attic into a small workshop. Raid the room to find two documents and a pen, then press another loose brick in the north wall to reveal a mysterious puzzle.

Clockwise’s Puzzle
This little puzzle is quite the brain-bender. The symbol on the wall features 10 segments. Press a segment to make it sink into the wall, along with every segment that it touches. The goal is to depress the entire symbol so that it’s flattened into the wall.
There are no obvious clues to solving this puzzle, even in the many letters you’ve found around Clockwise’s home. You’ve only your wits to help you. If you’re stuck, imagine that each segment is numbered from 1 - 10, with “1” being the first segment and “10” being the last segment (as you cycle through them). Press the segments in this order to quickly solve the puzzle: 2, 5, 7, 9, 10. (Ignore the first segment completely.)
Once you solve the puzzle, the wall slides away, exposing an elevator. Step aboard and ride down to the next area.
Area 3: Project Pendulum
The lift ferries you down to a cavernous basement. Clockwise certainly has been busy down here. Advance until you reach a room with a series of unique floor tiles. At last, the documents you’ve found in Clockwise’s house will come in handy!

Open the Journal and examine the Ector Client Jobs documents to find several symbols drawn on the “Project Pendulum” letters you’ve found in Clockwise’s home. Notice that these symbols match those on the floor tiles and that each document is dated. Step on the tiles in the order in which their symbols are dated in the documents to successfully reach the far pedestal. Make direct lines toward each symbol, taking the shortest and most direct path from one tile to the next. The far door will close if you make any false moves; return to the entry to reset the room and try again.
Collect the Automaton’s Heart from the pedestal, along with the final document that poor Clockwise has left behind.

Objective 2: Escape from Clockwise’s Residence
It’s been fun, but you’ve likely had your fill of Clockwise’s mind games by now. Fortunately, leaving his house isn’t difficult. Scale the long east ladder to reach the basement, where a poppy grows. Collect the poppy, then head upstairs to reach the door from which you entered. Well done. Ector will be thrilled to have the Automaton’s Heart back in his possession!
