Mario & Luigi: Dream Team eGuide Welcome to Pi'illo Island Welcome to Pi’illo Island

Trouble in Paradise

Welcome to Pi’illo Island, a picturesque isle teeming with natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Invitations have been sent out and guests are streaming in from all over the world, eager to relax and sightsee on this untouched paradise—artifacts from the ancient Pi’illo Kingdom are a huge draw. But all is not well on this fledgling tourist destination. Appearances by a bat-like apparition known as Antasma threaten not only the tourist industry, but the entire island…and perhaps the world. Fortunately, Mario and Luigi are two of the guests vacationing on the island when things go awry. Can they thwart Antasma’s evil plans for conquest?

Island Map

  • Pi’illo Blimport: The majestic Blimport! Home to the island’s blimp fleet: the Zeeppelin, Conkstream, Snorigible, and Naptune IV—all fine vessels capable of safe and luxurious blimping.
  • Pi’illo Castle: Dating back to the time of the Pi’illo Kingdom, this castle has been transformed into a hub of tourist activity, complete with a general information center, cafe, gift shop, and hotel. But there are also several unexplored chambers of the castle containing ancient and mysterious artifacts.
  • Mushrise Park: A haven of natural beauty, this park is lovingly pruned. Many unusual plant varieties can be found only there. Tourists just love rare flora!
  • Dozing Sands: This desert region is arid and unforgiving, as you might expect. It’s currently under construction to make it more suitable for sightseeing. Many ruins and artifacts from the ancient Pi’illo Kingdom have been excavated here.
  • Wakeport: For a slice of relaxing village life, this port resort simply can’t be beat! There are even events geared toward tourists, allowing guests to show off their skills in exchange for prizes. It’s no surprise that Wakeport is the most popular spot on the island.
  • Mount Pajamaja: This is the highest mountain of a majestic range on the island. You can even participate in a tour to climb to the summit! Oh, the fond memories you’ll make! Why not try the tour out?
  • Driftwood Shore: This just happens to be a stretch of beautiful beaches. For a taste of the tropics, this popular destination can’t be beat.
  • Somnom Woods: In this lush, primordial forest, the trees grow thick and leafy. There has been very little development in this region. As such, it can’t be recommended for tourists.
