The Sims 3 Pets Guide › Essentials › New Objects

Buy Mode

Buy Mode has been expanded to provide all the implements needed to keep your pets happy and healthy. You’ll find toys, beds, training aids, small pet habitats, and all the other accoutrements your pets will need. But pet items aren’t the only new objects. Some new household items have been included to complement the ranch-style, horsey feel of Appaloosa Plains. New items have been added throughout the catalog, from toys to cabinets to decor. We list them all for your convenience.

Tip

As always, you can go into Create a Style to customize items to your preferred look.

The Buy Mode catalog sports two new collections. In the Sort by Room tab, under Kid’s Room tab, there is a new Pet Essentials icon. The Pet Essentials collection also appears in the Sort by Function tab. This collection is divided into Cat, Dog, Horse, and All tabs, and this collection is the most complete.

Tip

If you want to see everything imaginable that’s pet-related, look in Sort by Function/All tab.

For information on all the possible interactions with these items, see the Horse, Cat, Dog, and Small Animal chapters.
