Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Guide › Summons

Shiva

This bewitching ice queen dances lithely about, freezing everyone in her path. Her gelid breath influences the Bravery of her overlords.

Pre-Summoning Effect: Overflow

Restores default Bravery value more quickly.

Post-Summoning Effect: Algid Aura

Increases default Bravery value and recovery speed.

Summary

Shiva offers incredibly powerful pre-summoning and post-summoning buff effects, particularly for an HP Attack-heavy playstyle. The regeneration rate at which your Bravery resets to 1000 after successfully scoring an HP Attack is multiplied by roughly a factor of six, making it much more difficult for opponents to hit you with a break effect after you land an HP Attack. After summoning Shiva, your new default Bravery value is increased to 1300, resulting in stronger HP Attacks across the board. As HP Attacks are central to many characters’ combat efficiency, Shiva is generally a safe summon pick.

Shiva’s field attacks are relatively easy to avoid, but your team can capitalize on the various freeze effects left behind by each field attack. Enemies are forced to either scatter from her telegraphed attack areas or become frozen by the ice traps formed after each field attack. Diamond Dust also forces movement, as the ice rings she conjures around each target have a tracking property. Although these attacks are evadable with proper movement, you can exploit your opponents’ evasive actions with well-timed attacks.

Field Attacks

Chilling Procession

Shiva swoops across the battlefield, leaving a trail of ice that telegraphs the effect of her incoming attack. She causes a shockwave of erupting ice across the arena, damaging enemies and leaving behind small blizzards that freeze enemies in place.
Bravery Damage Attack Type and Trajectory Description

1040

Linear across battlefield

Shiva leaves a trail of snow across the battlefield before summoning a shockwave of ice pillars toward her that damages and freezes foes in its path.

Ice Sheet

Shiva generates several columns of light, each telegraphing a stalagmite eruption that launches foes into the air while leaving behind circular ice traps that freeze foes.
Bravery Damage Attack Type and Trajectory Description

1040

Several direct eruptions beneath a target

Shiva causes several stalagmite eruptions, impaling and launching foes into the air, freezing them in place for a short time.

SIGNATURE ATTACK: DIAMOND DUST

Each enemy is encircled by a stalking ring of ice, representing the attack’s area of effect. The ring follows its target, and as Shiva unleashes her attack, the rings briefly stop before erupting into a massive ice formation, devastating enemies who fail to escape.
Bravery Damage Attack Type and Trajectory Description

160, 1760

Tracking ring around each enemy

Shiva places a ring of ice orbs around each target. Each ring of ice briefly follows its target before exploding.
