DFFNT centers around team play, a common feature among the most popular eSports titles. What can we expect from DFFNT in terms of eSports and competitive leagues? Are there any plans to incorporate spectator functionality into the game?
Esports is still a new challenge for us, and we have a lot to learn about it.
Having said that, though, we don’t feel we should be forcing a move into esports and will continue to update and make the game even better after launch, while still thinking proactively about tournaments and the like. That is how we would like to start.
Because of the way the game is structured, it might be difficult to have a Spectator Mode where you can freely watch at any time, but we do plan on adding the ability to be able to spectate on matches held in the same lobby in a post-release update.
