Dissidia Final Fantasy NT eGuide Summons

Odin

Though prideful, this knight has the skill to back up his claims and cleave his detractors. Odin’s blessing imparts speed equal to his sword swings.

Pre-Summoning Effect: Greased Lightning

Increases dash gauge recovery.

Post-Summoning Effect: Bladeglint

Increases dash gauge recovery and movement speed.

Summary

Odin affects dash gauge and movement speed. His pre-summoning effect increases dash gauge by 10%, while his post-summoning effect increases movement speed by 2%. While these effects aren’t as noticeably impactful as Shiva’s effects, they afford a constant mobility advantage throughout the match, since dashing is a crucial tool for all characters.

Odin’s charging field attack is relatively fast and can be difficult to avoid, even though it has an obvious telegraph. As with Ifrit’s charging attack, Odin decimates foes in a direct line across the battlefield. His secondary field attack is a rainstorm of projectiles, telegraphed by orbs of light on the ground after he throws Gungnir into the sky. Its large area of effect around a single enemy can have an isolating effect on the target, allowing you to follow up with aggression. Before he leaves the battlefield, Odin uses his renowned Zantetsuken attack. He teleports directly to a random enemy, then begins channeling the attack while a large purple field effect surrounds him. All foes within this field take Bravery damage after several seconds of channeling. You can use Zantetsuken’s channeling time to be aggressive, singling out enemies who are forced to run from the danger zone.
