Syndicate Guide Walkthrough The Co-Op Game

China

/Intel

Location: Jiang-Su, China, 2069
Codename: Purge
Suggested Number of Agents: 4

/Executive

Agents, one of our insiders in the Asapri Syndicate has informed us of a military response against the Colorado incident. The mission objective is to intercept an attaché of military advisors en route to a pivotal planning meeting and to stop them before they reach their location.

You will be assisted by a tech team to gain access to the high-security Aspari tunnel network.

Reach Main Street

Your team is dropped off near an urban alley. As the offensive players take the lead, the defensive and support players follow behind.

The first opposition appears beyond the first turn to the left. Take cover behind walls along the sides of the alley and defeat the hostile police.

Some of the police are carrying a new weapon—the riot lance. This weapon fires darts that stun you, similar to an electron mace. However, the riot lance has a longer range. The danger of being hit by a riot lance dart is that you can’t move or shoot and are left temporarily helpless.

Therefore, it is important to stay together as a team so that if one player is hit with the dart, the other players can kill the enemy and heal the stunned player. When you can find a riot lance, swap out your handgun for it. You can find lots of ammo for the riot lance as you kill more police.

Be sure to use the riot lance against police with riot shields. They drop their shields as they are stunned and can then be easily killed by other players.

Continue through the alleys until you come to a locked gate. Breach the controls to unlock it and pick up some ammo for your weapons. Once the team is assembled together in the room, the gate opens and you can move out onto Main Street.

Enter Subway Tunnels

Now you must advance along Main Street. There are lots of enemies down the street and this is where the support player with a sniper rifle comes in handy.

As the offensive players dash from cover to cover, the defensive and support players can fire at long range to kill enemies along the street as well as on elevated walkways.

Target the enemies with rocket launchers first. Then go after the UAV drones after the offensive players have disable their armor.

As the offensive players approach some barricades with lots of enemies behind them, move through one of the side alleys on either side of the street to come out behind the enemies and hit them from the flank.

A well-thrown grenade does a good job against a group of enemies.

Continue moving to the end of Main Street, where you have to fight more enemies, including a few UAV drones as well as a liquid soldier.

Neutralize them all and rip the chip from the armored enemy. Now move into a small room with some ammo and activate the gate controls to access the subway tunnels.

Breach Through Tunnel

After going through the gate, drop down through an opening in the floor to get to the subway tunnels. Move through some debris and continue into the tunnels, which are well guarded by hostiles.

As you advance through the tunnels, take side passages to avoid UAV drones in the main tunnel. The DART overlay also is helpful in locating enemies in the semi-darkness.

The support player may want to pick up an assault rifle or submachine gun to use because it is difficult to fight with a sniper rifle in the close confines of the tunnels.

Finally you come to a large room and can go no further. You must cut through to another tunnel. Luckily you have found a UGV. Breach it to program it to cut a hole through a wall.

Defend the UGV

Once it has cut through the wall, the UGV advances on its own to the next location where you need to use it. However, the enemy comes at you from all directions to try to stop the UGV.

Watch the UGV’s health in the objective list in the upper left corner of the screen. If its health reaches zero, the mission is a failure. The UGV slowly regains health when it is not being attacked. However, that is not very likely until after you eliminate all of the threats.

The UGV automatically begins cutting through another wall so you can get into another tunnel. Once it has completed its job, you no longer need to defend it.

Reach Subway Station

Advance through the hole cut by the UGV and follow a walkway along a subway track to a gate. Breach the controls to open the gate and pick up some ammo.

Once all team members are together, the gate opens and you can continue to the subway station.

Clear out the enemies guarding the subway station.

They are on the upper level to the left. Once they are eliminated, the support and defensive players should take up positions on the upper level with good vantage points to the area below.

Meanwhile the offensive players should take cover and wait for a subway train to arrive with the final objective.

Terminate the Generals

When the train pulls in, locate the enemy generals and their accompanying military advisors. The generals are wearing reactive armor.

Once the offensive players have breached the armor and are moving around seeking cover, the defensive and support players can hit the enemies from above. Watch out for UAV drones that appear as well.

Use apps that benefit the team to keep the offensive players alive since the generals are gunning for them.

Lure the two generals into positions where the support and defensive players can hit them from above.

Use the COIL lasers to inflict a lot of damage on the generals while their armor is down. Once both generals are killed, rip their chips and end the mission with success.

Tips from the Testers

  • Having an assault rifle as a primary weapon is an advantage, particularly in the first part of the mission.
  • Keep an eye out for enemies on higher elevations—look for laser sights.
  • Grenades are very useful when dealing with riot shield police units—you might consider conserving them.
  • Stick with your team. Police are known to use riot lances and electron maces—a gung-ho approach can quickly see you separated from your team and stunned in the middle of several enemies.
  • Picking up a LAW on Main Street and bringing it to the underground tunnels can be a lot of fun.
  • Losing the UGV will mean mission failure. Stick with it and protect it.
  • The subway station has some elevated positions that give you a slight advantage when facing the tougher enemies.
