Agents

Each player has their own Agent profile which can be accessed via the Agent menu.

Here you can check on your stats as well as customize your loadout and upgrade your chip, weapons, and applications.

Loadouts

Select this submenu to customize three different loadouts. By default, you can choose from offense, defense, and support. However, you can edit the names of each loadout to fit your style of play.

Within each loadout, you can select a primary weapon—with a choice of a shotgun, submachine gun, assault rifles, and a sniper rifle—as well as a secondary weapon, which is your choice of a pistol.

Each loadout also allows for two different apps, though you need the Extra Memory Chip upgrade to select a second app.

Chip Upgrades

As you complete co-op missions and rip chips from enemy officers and Agents, you earn points that you can spend on upgrading your chip.

You begin with three features at the start and can spend points on 25 different upgrades.

Tips from the Testers

Here are some tips on upgrading your chip from the Syndicate testers.

  • Unlocking the second application slot with "Extra Memory" should be done early. Having two applications available makes a big difference in any fight.
  • Infinite Sprint and Fast Breaching are two upgrades often undervalued. Both make a noticeable difference, though, particularly when up against tougher enemies like Reactive or Liquid armor types.
  • Dampen Blast is very useful, particularly on higher difficulty settings, when enemies favor explosive ammunitions.
  • Beast of Burden might require a bit of work to get, but it is undoubtedly one of the best chip upgrades to get. Double the amount of munitions and explosives an Agent can carry never goes amiss.
