Milestone T2: Backfire

After the evacuation vehicle was destroyed, a new app was uploaded to your DART chip. As a result, your chip has activated a tutorial on how to use the Backfire app.

Perform Application Tests

The Backfire app actually affects a target’s weapon while also causing some damage to the target. During the first part of the tests, use the breach button to activate the Backfire app.

Enter Challenge Area and Eliminate a Minimum

of Four Targets

After trying out the app, it is time to complete the challenge. Move forward to the challenge area and pick up the APP-3 pistol. You must combine the Backfire app along with firearms to defeat a number of enemies.

You have only six shots and there are six enemies. Start off by aiming at one of the two enemies on the left. Notice that the Backfire icon appears over the heads of two enemies.

Both will be effected when you activate the breach—and both will be vulnerable for a few seconds. Activate your DART overlay to increase the damage you inflict and then use the breach app.

As soon as they are affected by the Backfire app, quickly fire one shot at each enemy to kill them.

Next, target the middle two enemies and use the Backfire app again followed by two quick shots to kill these enemies. Finally, wait for your DART overlay to recharge, then kill the last two enemies using the Backfire app followed by two shots.

If you can get all six enemies, you get a perfect score. Exit the challenge area to continue to the next level.
