Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare eGuide Zomboss Down NEW DLC

Plants

Available Upgrades
  • Quick Draw: Practice at the range has improved his reload time.
  • Lightning Reflexes: Watching an Old West movie marathon has improved his reload time.
  • Extra Lead: These peas are packed with extra lead, increasing their damage.

Law Pea

Wherever there is injustice, you will find him. Wherever there is suffering, he’ll be there! Wherever liberty is threatened, you will find… the Law Pea! Only available from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday and also not available on Holidays.

Primary Weapon: Six Shooter

The Law Pea is an absolute master of mid- to long-range combat. His peas move somewhat slowly and you only get six shots before having to reload. The trade-off is that they pack a massive punch, even before factoring in Critical Hits. Use your power to back up your Plant buddies. If you’re confident in your shooting skills, you can take down Zombies in single combat with ease. Just mind your ammo count! Not even upgrades increase it.

Available Upgrades
  • Cobra-like Reflexes: By watching snakes at the zoo, she has found new techniques to reload faster.
  • Solar Prism: The solar prism concentrates more sun energy, increasing ammo.
  • Calibrated Snake Gems: A new technique to cut snake gems increases the intensity of the heat released, providing a boost to damage.

Sun Pharaoh

Little was known about the Sun Pharaoh until her sunflower-shaped pyramid was discovered in the early eighteenth century. According to the local hieroglyphs she enjoyed long walks on the beach, had many catnip companions and enjoyed eating chicken salad sandwiches.

Primary Weapon: Cobra Laser

There’s a certain weapon in many other shooters that behaves exactly like the Cobra Laser, so those comfortable with it in those games will be right at home here. The Cobra Laser fires a rapid three-shot burst that does fixed damage per hit over a very long range. Great for pinning Zombies down!

Available Upgrades
  • Emptied Pockets: Emptying out his pockets has lightened the load, and allows him to move faster.
  • Iron Stomach: Zombies cause indigestion! Having iron stomach-plating makes the agony pass a little quicker.
  • Balanced Breakfast: Now that he eats a balanced breakfast every morning, he’s feeling healthier than ever.

Armor Chomper

Every morning, the Armor Chomper dons his suit of armor and prepares for battle. He tries to lube up his joints during respawns so he doesn’t sound too creaky.

Primary Weapon: Metal Chomp

As you would expect from a Plant running around in a hulking suit of armor, the Armor Chomper moves a little more slowly than your average Chomper. However, with his massive health, you won’t even care. Close in on crowds of Zombies with your health advantage, use the Burrow to snake around or through, and choose your Chomp targets! If you want to be extra mean, have a Sunflower close by healing you as you move in for the vanquish.

Available Upgrades
  • Steely Gaze: Staring down Zombies in an even more fierce fashion improves her reload time.
  • Fancier Bandolier: Stitched some extra slots in her bandolier, increasing ammo capacity.
  • Sharpened Needles: Sharpening her needles has increased their damage. She can’t believe she didn’t think of that earlier.

Bandit Cactus

After robbing the Zomboss Express the Bandit Cactus retired, investing her loot in a fix-er-up resort hotel where she spends the majority of time greeting guests and apologizing about the shoddy accommodations.

Primary Weapon: Gatling Needle

The Gatling Needle fires long-ranged rapid-fire needles that do decent damage for the output. If you like sniping, but wish the practice weren’t so slow-paced and want to move around a bit, the Bandit Cactus is here for you.

New Consumable Plants

Bamboo Shoot

The Bamboo Shoot shoots bamboo shoots. How many shoots can a Bamboo Shoot shoot?

The ultimate in Garden defense, Bamboo Shoots are pretty much the same as a Corn Strike, except they do the aiming for you! Rain down Plant-based pain on Zombies from above! Always have one or two near every Garden, but make sure to give them some backup, as they aim slower than Zombies can move.

Fire Peashooter

Shoots Zombies with flaming peas, which causes burning damage over time.

Cut down crowds of invading Zombies in less time with multiple Fire Peashooters around. Their peas eat away at Zombie health, making them ultra-useful.

Ice Peashooter

He freezes Zombies in place, showing off how “cool” he is. Plants just roll their eyes.

Like the Fire Peashooter, the Ice Peashooter is most useful in high numbers, as it takes multiple shots to freeze Zombies in place.
