Boss Mode is about proper resource management. As Dr. Zomboss or Crazy Dave, you must gather resource points that fall down the map screen, Brainz or Sundrops respectively, and then put those points toward the powers that will best assist your team. The resources you need to collect will scroll across the screen, and you can use a controller, Kinect, or SmartGlass compatible device, in order to collect them. Each floating resource you collect gives you 25 of that resource to put toward your special abilities.
Both Bosses have four abilities that fall into the same categories: Spotting, Healing, Resurrect, and Airstrike.
