This small piece of Suburbia saw its fortunes fade when the Zomboss armies made the local housing market plummet, but for some reason the zombies still feel compelled to take what doesn’t belong to them. A small battlefield, especially when compared to Sharkbite Shores, the Suburban Flats will have plants and zombies shooting it out house-to-house, yard-by-yard. The homes here are small enough that the Foot Soldier Zombie and the Peashooter can use Rocket Jumps or Hyper to launch up to their rooftops to harass less fortunate plants and zombies alike.
Points of Interest
The Street

Winding through Suburban Flats is this singular street [1]. Filled with abandoned vehicles, you have some form of protection while cutting across the street between sections of the neighborhood, but this is arguably the worst place to be at any point of the map. Being in the street leaves you exposed to anyone in almost every other section of the map, from multiple directions.
The Cul-de-Sac

The end of the street leads to a cul-de-sac [2]. Like the street as a whole, this is more of a transitional location, and not necessarily a place you want to stay during an extended battle. Other surrounding zones simply have better protection for players to use against those caught in the cul-de-sac.
East Side

Clearly the more affluent side of Suburban Flats, the east side contains a number of landmarks that tend to be high-traffic sections during combat. [3] The swimming pool and nearby patio found in one back yard and the speedboat [4] stored in a separate yard find use as cover during battles, and the houses facing the street work to funnel players directly into ambushes.
West Side

[5] While the west side is a smaller zone from the one across the street, it is still one of the more ideal locations on the map, thanks to the protection the houses provide against snipers hiding in the playground park. [6] A small patio in one of the yards faces the street directly, and can be used to attack players leaving the east side from any of the small paths between homes.
Trailer Park

[7] The trailer park only looks unfortunate—it actually is a good place to hole up if you know the enemy is coming. The small trailer homes scattered through this park will give players approaching from the west side homes a lot to worry about.

[8] A short hill leads away from the main trailer park up to an overlook that gives players good lines of sight on the majority of the street, the trailer park proper, and parts of both the east and west sides. In a sense it acts like the counterpart to the playground park’s wooden fort.
Playground Park

The most valued location of the playground park is its wooden fort [9]. With a distinct height advantage over much of the rest of the map, sniper characters such as Cactus, or the Camo Ranger, can be extraordinarily effective at locking down the street. The threat from this location will force players to make use of the rest of the neighborhood to try and flank this position.
