Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare Guide › Plants

Spawnable Plants

In the Gardens and Graveyards and Co-op game modes, players in control of plants can summon automated defenses in the form of potted plants. These defenses come in many forms and have many uses, so always be sure to pick the right ones for the job.

Pea Cannon

Shoots large peas at the zombies, causing large amounts of splash damage. A good all-around defense.

Repeater

Shoots multiple peas, causing more damage than the Pea Cannon. Another good all-around defense to use, especially if damage is more important to you than area of effect.

Gatling Pea

Focuses in on one target at a time, unleashing a barrage of rapid-fire peas. Great for damage, but their focused-fire nature means they’ll require extra support against advancing hordes.

Bonk Choy

Makes up for his lack of range with devastating uppercuts. Place these near smaller chokepoints and watch the vanquishes rack up. These little guys can take down weaker zombie Classes with one hit!

Scaredy-shroom

Takes zombies out with superior range but hides when they get close. Treat them like the amazing, high-damage-dealing automated sniper units that they are, but make sure they have backup.

Heal Flower

Continuously generates sundrops which can heal nearby plants. A great flower to put in pots that are closest to bases or chokepoints that you want to manually defend.

Fume-shroom

Shoots out acidic bubbles that are effective at damaging shields and armor. A good support Class best backed up by one of the projectile-spewing Spawnables.

Goop-shroom

Goops zombies, which slows them down and makes them easy targets. Team these up with Ice-shrooms to make life miserable for zombies trying to get through a chokepoint.

Snap Dragon

Unleashes his fiery breath, which does additional damage over time. Has decent range to boot, and lets loose a constant stream of fire. If you can get him near an Ice-shroom or Goop-shroom, you have a good combination.

Ice-shroom

Lets out bursts of icy-coldness, freezing nearby zombies where they stand. Make sure you have some backup fire on hand to deal with any immobilized zombies.
