In the Gardens and Graveyards game mode, zombie players can summon AI-controlled allies to help in overwhelming plant defenses and reaching their Gardens. You earn zombies to summon by spending Gold in the Sticker Shop on the various sticker packs, with some zombies being more rare than others.

Browncoat Zombie
Attacks plants and Gardens with a zombie munch attack. Browncoats are not particularly bright or effective on their own. If you want to make them useful, they need to have your backup, or the backup of other zombie minions.

Conehead Zombie
Has slightly more health than the standard zombie Browncoat. As with the standard Browncoat, a Conehead Zombie is not effective without support. It can take a bigger beating, which can help it in reaching a Garden.

Buckethead Zombie
Highest health of all non-shielded Browncoat Zombies. Expect the plants to break out their bigger guns if you send a mass of Buckethead Zombies their way.

Flag Zombie
His brainz flag gives a speed boost to all AI zombies around him. This zombie is great to have among other slower-moving AI zombies, such as the Coffin and Outhouse Zombies.

Newspaper Zombie
Uses his newspaper as a shield to absorb incoming fire. This is the first of the zombies that come with additional protection before they can finally be hurt and vanquished. Attacks from the front are less potent until the newspaper is destroyed. Destroying the newspaper enrages the zombie, and grants him a movement speed increase.

Screen Door Zombie
Shields himself from the enemy with his sturdy screen door. The Screen Door Zombie is able to take a lot more damage from the front before succumbing to the plant menace. A good balance between durability and speed.

Coffin Zombie
One of the most heavily armored zombies, but has trouble seeing where he’s going. The Coffin Zombie will eventually reach a Garden, but will also take a while getting there. He can absorb absurd levels of punishment before getting taken down.

Outhouse Zombie
Uses an outhouse to shield himself from attacks, and has other unmentionable benefits too! Consider the Outhouse Zombie to be a slightly slower, more heavily armored Coffin Zombie. Don’t get so distracted by these guys that you miss faster moving threats!

Exploding Imp
He is very excited to have the opportunity to run and explode. These imps charge directly at plants most of the time, but they’re just as happy to make the direct assault on the Gardens they protect. However, it doesn’t take much to set off their explosives before they can reach their targets. It’s best to try and sneak them in while the plant defenders are preoccupied by other zombies.
