Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare eGuide Co-op Garden Ops

Hero Zombies

Hero Zombies are basically the Classes you can choose to play as if you’ve sided with Dr. Zomboss during a Team Vanquish or Gardens and Graveyards game. They are worth more points to defeat than the standard zombies, and for good reason. Once Hero Zombies become a regular part of each wave, your chances for survival start to look very grim.

On top of the standard Hero Zombies, variants of each hero will also make their way to the battlefield, with different primary weapons that will shake up how you’ll have to fight them.

Foot Soldier

Foot Soldiers are a massive step up over the variety of Browncoats you’ll face. Dangerous from afar, capable of vanquishing a plant in one shot with their ZPG, or weakening defenses with their stink cloud, the Foot Soldiers can change the nature of the battle in moments.

Variants
Engineer

The engineer’s greatest threat: a Sonic Grenade, which stuns all plants within a set radius. This ability alone makes the Engineer extremely dangerous, as one grenade can stun four plants if they’re all in close proximity. More troublesome is the ability to build Teleporters that bring in zombie reinforcements. If you see an Engineer on his Jackhammer, he’s probably about to build a Teleporter.

Variants
Scientist

The Zombie Scientists should be considered targets of the highest priority. Their ability to heal their comrades can be effective at pushing back the toughest plant defenses, while their teleport ability lets them quickly close the distance to make use of their powerful close-range weapons.

Variants
All-Star

All-Stars are surprisingly quick for all the heavy equipment they carry. They can kick Explosive Imps to clear out any Potted Plants you’ve grown, and their football cannons can lay down withering barrages of fire from afar. All-Stars are also remarkably tough, able to absorb a lot of damage before going down.
