When it comes to laying down high volumes of fire, few weapons are as effective as the light machine guns. Thanks to their large magazine capacities and high rates of fire, these hulking weapons can fire long bursts of automatic fire, sending your opponents diving for cover. This is the support kit’s primary weapon, ideal for suppressing opponents. Continue playing as the support class to unlock new light machine guns. All light machine guns come equipped with a Bipod for greater stability while firing automatic bursts.

Fundamentals
- The LMGs can only be equipped by the support class.
- Although capable of high rates of sustained fire, LMGs deal the most damage within 50 meters.
- Whenever possible, deploy the LMG’s Bipod for greater accuracy and stability.
- The belt-fed LMGs take a very long time to reload. Find a good hiding spot or have a squadmate watch your back while reloading.
- Due to their cumbersome size, you can’t peek around cover while carrying an LMG.

This US JSSAP prototype is intended to significantly reduce the weight associated with small arms and their ammunition. Using a High Ignition Temperature Propellant, this prototype light machine gun features belt-fed caseless ammunition. Should the program be successful, this weapon system could become a great improvement over the heavier and more cumbersome squad automatic weapons currently in use.

A derivative of the RPK-74, the RPK-12’s heritage dates back to the late 1950s. But there’s nothing old fashioned about this weapon. Constructed from durable, lightweight composite materials, the RPK-12 is a magazine-fed LMG that functions much like an assault rifle. When holding a fixed position, deploy its Bipod for greater accuracy and stability.

Fundamentals
- Sniper rifles remain the domain of the recon class, capable of 2-shot kills to the body or one-shot kills to the head.
- These rifles have the longest effective range, dishing out optimal damage well beyond 100 meters.
- Due to their cumbersome size, you can’t peek around corners while holding a sniper rifle.
- Equip the Straight Pull auxiliary attachment to maintain line of sight with your target while operating the weapon’s bolt.
- The Range Finder takes all guesswork out of zeroing your scope. Attach it as soon as it’s available.
